Collection<\/span><\/p><figcaption><\/figcaption><\/div>\n<div><em>Prison Break<\/em> was a breakout hit\u2014pun <em>fully<\/em> intended\u2014when it premiered on August 29, 2005, marking Fox\u2019s most-watched summer Monday night in seven years, at the time.<\/p>\n<p>That first season told the tale of an engineer (played by Wentworth Miller) breaking his wrongly-imprisoned brother (Dominic Purcell) out of jail with allies on the inside and outside, as well as the help of one elaborate back tattoo.<\/p>\n<p>And yes, <em>Prison Break<\/em> lost viewers and credibility as the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> wore on, originally concluding with a low-rated finale in May 2009. But Fox is still sweet on the show: An \u201cevent series\u201d fifth season aired in 2017, and network execs are even contemplating future installments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue to talk about <em>24<\/em> and <em>Prison Break<\/em> as potential spinoffs,\u201d Fox Entertainment President Michael Thorn told <em>Deadline<\/em> in January. \u201cThere is nothing that is ready to announce on either front.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For now, though, we\u2019re celebrating <em>Prison Break<\/em>\u2019s upcoming 15th anniversary by checking in on the Season 1 cast.
