Disney+ price hikes are live as of the publishing date, pushing the price to $10.99 a month, up from $7.99\/mo. The good news is that if you\u2019d rather not pay that much, the ad-supported tier has also gone live today.<\/p>\n<p>You can now <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/disneyplus.bn5x.net\/c\/156932\/741644\/9358?subId1=htg&amp;subId2=853667&amp;sharedid=&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.disneyplus.com%2F&amp;subId3=xid:{xid}&amp;___trxnet=ir\">sign up for a Disney+ plan with ads<\/a> for $7.99\/mo, the same price as what the ad-free tier used to cost. This means that if you\u2019re a current subscriber and you don\u2019t want to pay more, and you don\u2019t mind putting up with ads, you can pay the same amount you were paying before. If you don\u2019t want to see ads, though, you\u2019ll need to cough up an extra $3 for the $10.99\/mo tier. The ads are infrequent \u2014 Disney says that you\u2019ll only see about four minutes of ads for every hour of watched content. But they\u2019ll still be there.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, this tier is not yet supported on Roku devices or on the Windows <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>, so if you get this plan or one of Disney+\u2019s bundles including it, you won\u2019t be able to stream Disney+ with it. The company didn\u2019t mention why, or when the problem will be solved. It\u2019s possible Disney didn\u2019t want to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/how-roku-makes-money-5119488\">share ad revenue with Roku<\/a>, or just hasn\u2019t worked out a deal with the company yet. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=204a528a336ede4177fff0d84a044482&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fvariety.com%2F2020%2Fdigital%2Fnews%2Fhbo-max-launch-roku-warnermedia-1234864416%2F&amp;cuid=xid:{xid}&amp;___trxnet=vg\">HBO Max wasn\u2019t available on Roku for the first seven months<\/a>, due to delays with negotiations.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone else can now subscribe to the new tier or stay on the tier they were in previously for a bit more money. It\u2019s your call.
