A lot of people just like, did not turn in their verses \u2014 but I\u2019m grateful for who did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>SZA admitted that she\u2019s guilty of ignoring feature requests from many of the same artists she reached out to in the past so she \u201ccan\u2019t be too mad,\u201d but that doesn\u2019t mean she isn\u2019t still disappointed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of these people, <em>I<\/em> didn\u2019t turn in my verse, so I can\u2019t be too mad,\u201d she added. \u201cBut also, at the same token it\u2019s like, \u2018Damn, this sucks. I really needed you. I wish you showed up for me.\u2019 But I\u2019m sure they felt the same way for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"SZA On New Album &#039;SOS&#039;, Being Pissed &amp; What Makes Her Not Want to Put Out Music Again\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/a9cCfTjx0Qo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Despite the no-shows, <em>S.O.S.<\/em> still has its fair share of star power, with cameos coming from Travis Scott, Don Toliver and Phoebe Bridgers, as well as a posthumous appearance from Ol\u2019 Dirty Bastard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI doubted that this was gonna be allowed to be on the album, but it surprisingly was,\u201d SZA told Nessa of her unexpected collaboration with the late Wu-Tang Clan legend. \u201cI talked to his estate. It really just came from a piece of documentary footage. He was freestyling in the background of the footage so I took the audio. It\u2019s cool.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit300\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>SZA is especially grateful for being able to extend her creative partnership with Travis Scott, who previously appeared on \u201cLove Galore,\u201d the chart-topping, Grammy-nominated hit from her 2017 debut <em>Ctrl<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love Travis and he always shows up for me, and I really appreciate that, that he\u2019s a consistent friend in my life and really believes in me as an artist,\u201d she said. \u201cHe\u2019s my gang!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSame thing with Don [Toliver] \u2014 a genius,\u201d she added of her upcoming collaboration with Travis\u2019 Cactus Jack cohort. \u201cThere\u2019s another song with Don that didn\u2019t make this album, but it may be on it at a later time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After years of delays, doubts and discordance between SZA and her labels, <em>S.O.S.<\/em> is finally set to be released on Friday (December 9).
