The company isn\u2019t done with widgets, though, and a significant fix is on the way.<\/p>\n<p>Widgets on Windows 11 don\u2019t work at all right now unless you\u2019re logged in with a Microsoft account \u2014 otherwise, the panel is blank and you can\u2019t see anything. The blog post explains, \u201cyou can now get weather updates on the taskbar, pin widgets from your favorite <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>s or access personalized dynamic feed without an account.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s still a prompt at the top of the widget board to log in, but it can be hidden (at least temporarily) with a close button. Microsoft might be dropping the requirement ahead of support for third-party widgets\u00a0\u2014 all the current widgets are from Microsoft, and many of them are personalized based on user data, so there was at least <em>somewhat<\/em> of an excuse for the whole panel to be locked to Microsoft accounts.<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t know yet when the new widget functionality will roll out to everyone on Windows 11.
