While this may sound like a solid way to share purchases with friends and family, it introduces problems when it comes to updating apps.<\/p>\n<p>This can cause the Mac App Store to constantly request a password to update an app that is linked to someone else\u2019s Apple ID. If you don\u2019t know the password, the app cannot update, and the relentless requests continue.
