I am terrified for what my brothers are about to unleash. I am scared.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>Qatar\u2019s ban on homosexuality has been a hot-button issue throughout this year\u2019s World Cup, where seven European teams were barred from wearing anti-discrimination \u201cOne Love\u201d armbands by FIFA.  <\/p>\n<p>Homosexuality is punishable by up to three years in Qatari prison. A report from Human Rights Watch<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hrw.org\/news\/2022\/10\/24\/qatar-security-forces-arrest-abuse-lgbt-people\"> published in October<\/a> found that there were cases Qatari security forces members arresting LGBT people and subjecting them to \u201cill-treatment and detention\u201d without reason.\n                        <\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
