Before I would end the show he would break out in a tantrum and start crying unless he could get on the stage. So to see him chase his dream and to see all of the obstacles that he had to overcome without my help. And then him doing it, it\u2019s just really mind-blowing. And a lot of things were changing with streaming and everything. And one day I woke up, he had a Bad Boy chain on, and I\u2019m like \u2018Bro, Bad Boy is on pause for a second\u2026\u2019 He\u2019s keeping Bad Boy alive and taking it to the next level without even no coaching or prompting from me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe did this on his own and I don\u2019t even care if it\u2019s hard to believe because the proof is there, he has the receipts to prove it,\u201d Puff added. \u201cHe\u2019s been on the road, people know he\u2019s been working hard, they been seeing him. Last year, the Harlem-bred mogul revealed plans to drop a new project called\u00a0<em>Off the Grid Vol. 1<\/em>, although its scheduled September 2021 release date came and went.<\/p>\n<p>In May, Puff appeared to recommit his focus by launching the\u00a0R&amp;B-leaning Love Records\u00a0in partnership with Motown. It was reported a new solo album \u2014 his first 2015\u2019s\u00a0<em>MMM (Money Making Mitch)<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 would be the first release from the imprint.<\/p>\n<p>Diddy\u2019s \u201cLove era\u201d \u2014 which also includes a\u00a0collaboration with The Weeknd\u00a0\u2014 appears to be part of his plan to\u00a0reinstate New York as a force to be reckoned with\u00a0in Hip Hop and R&amp;B.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, he delivered the Bryson Tiller-assisted\u00a0\u201cGotta Move On,\u201d\u00a0which peaked at No. 79 on the Billboard Hot 100. The R&amp;B tune later received a\u00a0\u201cQueens Remix\u201d makeover\u00a0featuring Yung Miami and Ashanti, with the latter addressing her former Murder Inc. label boss Irv Gotti\u2019s comments about their\u00a0alleged romance.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s since released \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/06hB8RlMfCKsHtmpAuTPxf\">Whatcha Gon\u2019 Do?<\/a>,\u201d a 2017 collaboration with Rick Ross and the Notorious B.I.G. as two new videos: \u201cDiddy Freestyle,\u201d which he delivered in October, with a clip featuring Yung Miami, King Combs, and his eldest biological son Justin Combs; and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/NLY5SXU8ezI\">a separate edit of the song focused on Rozay\u2019s verse<\/a>, which arrived on Saturday (December 10).<\/p>\n<p>In November, King Combs\u2019 new single with Kodak Black\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HA2sOPA_mIs\">\u201cCan\u2019t Stop Won\u2019t Stop\u201d<\/a> went to No. 1 on Urban radio.
