That\u2019s all I gotta say,\u201d Jihad Ward said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He was seated in front of his locker, and laughed. Maybe to keep from crying.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s December football, man,\u201d Ward said. \u201cIt\u2019s about who the f\u2014 wants it more. It\u2019s more to it than just doing your job. \u2026 You have to do more. How bad do you want it? Ain\u2019t nobody gonna sit here and give it to us. Are you gonna sit here and sit back and wait til next year? I want it NOW! That\u2019s the type of mindset that I have, and I expect every single person in the organization to have.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t tell us.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Show us.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>\u201cWhat better opportunity to after the game get embarrassed on TV in front of everyone and everyone outside of us is, \u2018The sky is falling, the sky is falling.\u2019 What better opportunity to come in and go against a division opponent, go to their home and try to come out with a win?\u201d Saquon Barkley said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This will be a test of their self-proclaimed resilience, because the Eagles battered and bloodied the Giants from pillar to post, a true mismatch between a heavyweight and a group that resembles a light-heavyweight club fighter.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey wanted it more than us,\u201d Ward said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Eagles ran for 253 yards, 192 in the second half. Jalen Hurts (21-for-31, 217 yards, 2 TDs, 77 yards rushing, 1 TD) toyed with the soft Giants defense. Barkley (11 touches) was preserved in part because of his questionable neck.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The punter dropped a snap and illegally drop-kicked the ball. Kickoff coverage was brutal. The Giants didn\u2019t belong on the same field as the Eagles. It was men versus boys. Offense, defense, special teams, coaches, all of us \u2014 we gotta get this thing right. And that\u2019s something that I look forward to.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All is not lost only if you believe all is not lost.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>\u201cWhen you grow up, as a kid, you want games that are \u2018Everything\u2019s on the line.\u2019 So, that\u2019s how we\u2019re treating it,\u201d Julian Love said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If it was painful for Giants fans to watch, think of how painful it was for Xavier McKinney (broken fingers) to again watch as he waits for medical clearance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously we don\u2019t want to rush anything. I\u2019m trying my best though. If I could make my own decision, I would been out there the day after surgery,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now we find out, now the Giants find out, what they\u2019re made of. The Little Engine That Could is operating on fumes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going through a rough patch right now,\u201d Barkley said. \u201cWe\u2019re not playing well. That\u2019s on us, we gotta play better \u2026 if we weren\u2019t talented and we weren\u2019t a good team, we wouldn\u2019t be in this situation and we are. Now we gotta double down, continue to believe in each other.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Jones (18-for-27, 169 yards, 1 TD, 26 yards rushing) again talked about the Giants playing their best game.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat hunger and the opportunity that\u2019s in front of us to get to the playoffs and play these meaningful games down the stretch is an awesome opportunity,\u201d Jones said\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re blowing the awesome opportunity.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have two choices in life, right?\u201d Kayvon Thibodeaux said. \u201cYou either spend more time on the problem or you spend time on the solution.
