Around 3 p.m. on Thursday though, <strong>Jefferson Parish Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/strong> responded to reports of a stabbing only to find Yolanda\u2019s car sitting in the parking lot of a hotel. They found the 54-year-old woman in her vehicle, suffering from \u201cmultiple stab wounds\u201d. Sadly, only shortly after making it to the hospital, the woman succumbed to her injuries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Woman Shoots &amp; Kills Carjacker With His Own Gun<\/strong><strong>!<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t long before officers had a suspect. Law enforcement teamed up with Uber to narrow down who the last passenger Yolanda picked up was, and soon thereafter they were able to identify him as 29-year-old <strong>Brandon Jacobs <\/strong>(pictured above). According to JPSO\u2019s investigation, Jacobs had stabbed Dillion \u201crepeatedly\u201d:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-6397b53688c32-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOur investigation has shown that the victim was an Uber driver providing a ride to Jacobs from a location in New Orleans to the hotel. When the ride ended, Jacobs stabbed her repeatedly before leaving the vehicle. Jacobs was later <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>rehended at the hotel.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Just awful\u2026<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>When interviewing him, the suspect told police his reasoning for killing the woman was pretty much just because he felt like it:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-6397b53688c37-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAfter his arrest, Jacobs was interviewed by our investigators. He admitted to stabbing the victim at the end of the ride. We asked him specifically, \u2018How did you pick her?\u2019 His response was, \u2018I didn\u2019t pick her, Uber picked her.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>The sheriff also revealed the horrific crime was filmed and posted to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a> before it was eventually taken down after JPSO worked with the platform.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-6397b53688c3d-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>New Orleans Police Superintendent <strong>Shaun Ferguson<\/strong> told <em>CNN<\/em> on Friday the entire department is taking the 54-year-old\u2019s death \u201cpretty hard\u201d. A spokesperson for Uber also spoke with the outlet and said they were \u201cextremely disturbed by this senseless attack\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cOur thoughts are with Yolanda\u2019s family, and we are reaching out to them to offer condolences and support. We are actively working with the police on their investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Such a heartbreaking and senseless murder.
