TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Series<\/a> \u2014 Drama.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Crown\u201d (Netflix)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHouse of the Dragon\u201d (HBO)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOzark\u201d (Netflix)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeverance\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le TV+)<\/p>\n<p><strong>My take<\/strong>: No arguments here, though there will be some who quibble with \u201cThe Crown.\u201d Season 5, which premiered Nov. 9, has, at times, dragged a bit \u2014 particularly the episode charting the finality of Charles and Diana\u2019s divorce, with its unnecessary and gratuitous time-filler court scenes \u2014 but, overall, its arc held together heading into the inevitability of its sixth and final season. \u201cOzark\u201d was riveting (with a problematic finale), the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Game<\/a> of Thrones\u201d prequel, \u201cHouse of the Dragon,\u201d was a monster hit, so can\u2019t ignore that, and \u201cSeverance\u201d was a talker.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/13.1t.crown_.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth in &quot;The Crown.&quot; He brought gravitas as a world-weary 70something former spy dragged back in from the cold to go mano-a-mano with an old nemesis. Costner has been the cornerstone of \u201cYellowstone\u201d for all of its five seasons as one of the most-watched series on television. It\u2019s been overlooked by the Emmys; maybe that will change here. Staunton is the best Queen Elizabeth of the three actresses who\u2019ve played the role (Claire Foy in Seasons 1-2, Olivia Colman in Seasons 3-4). Linney was solid, but Rhea Seehorn (\u201cBetter Call Saul\u201d) belongs on this list. I haven\u2019t seen enough of \u201cAlaska Daily\u201d to fairly judge Swank\u2019s bona fides after giving a meh review to the opening episodes of her ABC series. Zendaya is a phenomenon.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Best Performance By an Actor in a Television Series \u2014 Musical or Comedy<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Donald Glover, \u201cAtlanta\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bill Hader, \u201cBarry\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Steve Martin, \u201cOnly Murders in the Building\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Martin Short, \u201cOnly Murders in the Building\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jeremy Allen White, \u201cThe Bear\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>My take:<\/strong> Hader, Glover and White are the no-brainers here, and it\u2019s nice to see White receive well-deserved kudos for \u201cThe Bear,\u201d which came out of nowhere to capture everyone\u2019s attention. There was no way to overlook Chastain, who brought a mixture of toughness, tenderness, love, determination and vulnerability to her portrayal of Tammy Wynette opposite Michael Shannon (who was, glaringly, <em>not<\/em> nominated) as George Jones in the Paramount+ series. <\/p>\n<p>Kudo to these nominees: Hauser as creepy serial killer Larry Hall in \u201cBlack Bird\u201d (see above); Domnhall Gleeson in \u201cThe Patient\u201d (but where\u2019s Steve Carell?); and Henry Winkler, who continues to shine in \u201cBarry.\u201d \n                        <\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
