<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CZ  Binance (@cz_binance) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cz_binance\/status\/1602675604683476993?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 13, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>To access the new features, Binance.US users would need to update to the latest version of the app, and go through identity verification as well as loading their Pay wallet. <\/p>\n<p>However, the service only facilitates transactions between users on the Binance US mobile app. Users can receive up to $1 million in crypto every 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: <\/strong><strong><em>Crypto community members discuss bank run on Binance<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The latest announcement has come amid a turbulent period for the global crypto exchange. <\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing Binance\u2019s Bitcoin (BTC) balance has fallen by over 42,000 in the last 24 hours, equating to over $754 million, but despite the withdrawals the exchange still has a Bitcoin balance in excess of 527,304 BTC <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coinglass.com\/Balance\">according<\/a> to on-chain monitoring resource Coinglass.<\/p>\n<p>The withdrawals are understood to have followed a Dec. 13 Reuters <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/markets\/us\/us-justice-dept-is-split-over-charging-binance-crypto-world-falters-sources-2022-12-12\/\">report<\/a> which suggested the United States Department of Justice is nearing the end of an investigation into Binance which commenced in 2018, with U.S. prosecutors reportedly split over whether there is enough evidence to press criminal charges against the exchange and its executives.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, there have also been fresh concerns within the crypto community relating to Binance\u2019s finances, with accounting and financial specialists consulted by the Wall Street Journal in a Dec. 10 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/binance-is-trying-to-calm-investors-but-its-finances-remain-a-mystery-11670679351\">report<\/a> suggesting Binance\u2019s proof of reserves raise a number of red flags while community members fear the worst.<\/p>\n<p>In a Dec. 14 update on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>, CZ noted that \u201cThings seem to have stabilized,\u201d adding that the withdrawals yesterday weren&#8217;t even within the top five withdrawals they\u2019ve processed in its history. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Things seem to have stabilized. Yesterday was not the highest withdrawals we processed, not even top 5. We processed more during LUNA or FTX crashes.
