During the investigation, we learned the 22-year-old was the only suspect the police ever had \u2014 and even her own mother had cast doubt on her story that the boy\u2019s father had come and taken him. In fact, we later learned Leilani\u2019s mother, <strong>Billie Jo Howell<\/strong>, had cooperated with the\u00a0<strong>FBI<\/strong> and helped them to arrest her own daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Now there\u2019s been yet another jaw-dropping twist. Billie Jo has\u00a0<em>also<\/em> been arrested!<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Related: Quinton\u2019s Grandfather Mysteriously Killed As Police Continue Search<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63997dcecab6b-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to local outlet <em>WSAV<\/em>, the 45-year-old grandmother was booked into the Chatham County Detention Center on Monday \u2014 but they no one will tell the public why! We know she\u2019s \u201con hold for the juvenile court system\u201d per jail records, but as for charges, the clerk told <em>WSAV<\/em> it\u2019s a closed case, and they aren\u2019t allowed to discuss it. They\u2019re citing GA rule of law 2.10, claiming that revealing her alleged crime would \u201caffect a fair trial or hearing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"highlight\">WHAT??<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>We assume they mean\u00a0<em>her<\/em> trial. But could it be possible they mean Leilani\u2019s? <em>WSAV<\/em> has learned Billie Jo was not arrested on charges connected to Quinton\u2019s death. But could whatever she has been charged with be used by her daughter\u2019s defense to muddy the waters? Is that what they mean?<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63997dcecab6e-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>As far as we understand it, being \u201con hold for the juvenile court system\u201d often means a contempt of court charge. But what\u2019s the context? Which court?? That seems pretty serious. And separate from that, in her mugshot (above), she seems to be wearing a suicide protection smock. That\u2019s upsetting. Chatham County Sheriff\u2019s Office public information officer\u00a0<strong>Parla Parker<\/strong> confirmed that detail to\u00a0<em>NBC <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a><\/em> but refused to say any more on the matter, citing HIPAA rights of prisoners.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63997dcecab72-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Well, we hope she\u2019s OK, whatever she was arrested for. Her entire family has been put through an unimaginable tragedy.
