prosecutors put the brakes on an illegal marijuana operation that was allegedly peddling \u201cBeach Boyz Budz\u201d brand weed out of a multi-colored converted school bus, The Post has learned.<\/p>\n<p>The bus \u2014 decked out in Jamaican Rastafarian colors of green, yellow and red and still equipped with the traditional \u201cstop\u201d sign \u2014 was doing business in Rockaway Park, just two blocks from nearby schools, according to the Queens District Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Rastafari is a Jamaican religion that idolizes former Ethiopian emperor Haile Selassie and promotes cannabis smoking to achieve nirvana.<\/p>\n<p>Two men \u2014 Omar Herrera, 32, and David Reilly, 46 \u2014 were charged in the sting after cops said they made undercover buys of more than 2 1\/2 pounds of cannabis, 274 joints and nine THC vaporizer \u201cpens\u201d from the eyebrow-raising locale.<\/p>\n<p>The pair allegedly sold the illegal goods under the name \u201cBeach Boyz Budz.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" 1,000-milligram bottle of cannabis syrup, two jars of cannabis \u201ccrumble,\u201d and 49 bags of cannabis gummy candies and cookies, the office said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStores, trucks and other outlets currently selling recreational marijuana are doing so illegally,\u201d Queens DA Melinda Katz said in a statement. \u201cWhat consumers are buying from these sellers is not regulated and most certainly has not been tested by the state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The DA noted that \u201cprivate testing has found that the cannabis products sold through these illegal operations often contain harmful and lost funding for essential public services,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>A state board issued New York\u2019s first recreational marijuana sales licenses, with those operations due to get up and running as early as this month.<\/p>\n<p>The licenses, which were <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roved by the Office of Cannabis Management, came some\u00a020 months\u00a0after the state legalized adult-use weed \u2014 and as the streets of New York City are awash with\u00a0grey market unlicensed marijuana vendors.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img
