Boss&#8217; wife told cops he left unexpectedly&#8221;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n        <\/aside>\n<p>Stephen \u201ctWitch\u201d Boss reportedly left the house unexpectedly and wouldn\u2019t answer his cellphone before his death by suicide at 40.<\/p>\n<p>His wife Allison Holker, 34, suspected something was wrong, and she told cops Boss left their California house without any argument or problem \u2014 but wasn\u2019t answering her calls, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2022\/12\/15\/ellen-dj-stephen-twitch-boss-wife-cops-left-unexpectedly-allison-holker\/?adid=browser_notifications\">TMZ reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She emphasized to law enforcement how \u201cout of character\u201d his actions were \u2014 so much so that officers considered listing Boss as a \u201ccritical missing persons\u201d case.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement sources told the outlet that they went with Holker back to her home in Los Angeles to check the property for any information on where Boss could have gone.<\/p>\n<p>It was earlier reported that Holker reportedly ran frantically into an LAPD station, saying her husband had left home without his car, which she claimed was unlike him, according to law enforcement sources.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after Holker\u2019s interaction with the LAPD, they received a call about a shooting at an LA hotel, where they found the beloved \u201cEllen DeGeneres Show\u201d DJ and \u201cSo You Think You Can Dance\u201d star dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/ellen-degeneres-dj-twitch-dead-suicide-08-1.jpg?w=683\" alt=\"Allison Holker and Stephen &quot;tWitch&quot; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared on \u201cSo You Think You Can Dance\u201d \u2014 released a statement to The Post confirming her husband\u2019s death, saying, \u201cIt is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her statement continued, \u201cStephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The spouses had co-hosted \u201cDisney\u2019s Fairy Tale Weddings\u201d on Disney+ since 2018.
