And of course <strong>Christine Brown<\/strong> had previously left. That leaves Kody with just one wife! Like some kind of normal person that\u00a0<em>doesn\u2019t<\/em> have a reality show about them!<\/p>\n<p>The breakup revelation came when Meri was shown a video of the 53-year-old saying in a confessional that he does not consider himself \u201cmarried\u201d to her anymore, adding:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cIf she wanted to move on and marry another, she wouldn\u2019t get an argument with me.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-639cce5db1293-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Oof. That must have been hard to watch!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Jesse James &amp; Bonnie Rotten Are Back Together Again?!<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>When asked by host <strong>Sukanya Krishnan<\/strong> how she felt about Kody\u2019s comments, Meri shared that she doesn\u2019t understand \u2014 he was so hurt when Christine\u00a0broke up him without a discussion about it, and then he decided to do the exact same thing to her:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-639cce5db1296-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt just doesn\u2019t make sense to me that he would be so frustrated with Christine and be like, \u2018She just made this decision, we didn\u2019t consult, we didn\u2019t talk, she just made the decision\u2019 and then he says, \u2018No, I don\u2019t consider myself married to Meri. Like, he just made the decision. I never heard him say that to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While they have had a strained relationship, Meri said Kody made her believe everything would be fine between them following the family\u2019s move to Arizona in 2018:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cEven since being in Flagstaff, he has led me to believe that he was trying. Our first anniversary that we had here in Flagstaff, \u2018Cheers to new beginnings.\u2019 As opposed to this last anniversary he\u2019s like, \u2018I don\u2019t even know why you called me, Meri. We\u2019re not married, we\u2019re not actually married.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-639cce5db129a-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ouch, dude! Meri thought they should address their situation \u201cpublicly\u201d \u2014 but he refused. She explained:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAnd I said to him then, \u2018If that\u2019s where we are, don\u2019t you think we should address that publicly?\u2019 He said, \u2018No, I don\u2019t want to address it. I don\u2019t want that to be out there publicly because I don\u2019t want that judgment.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>When the host asked if she gets to decide where the two stand with their relationship at this time, Meri fired back:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-639cce5db129d-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWell, he\u2019s already made the decision. You just saw him say that\u2026 You just saw him say that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While it seems like this split is final, she still feels there is a chance they could reconcile \u2014 at least she would be up for it! Not too sure how Kody feels about that, considering his comments\u2026 As Meri admitted in the clip:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI would. I definitely would be. But the former couple, who share 27-year-old<strong> Leon Brown<\/strong>, legally divorced in 2014 so Kody could marry his fourth wife, <strong>Robyn Brown<\/strong>, and adopt her kids. Since then, two of the other wives have said goodbye to Kody. Christine shockingly announced her breakup with the patriarch of the Brown family in 2021, while <strong>Janelle Brown<\/strong> shared in December that they\u2019ve been separated for months.
