In the days that followed, a number of celebrities, friends and fans have expressed their condolences and sent their love to Boss\u2019 family. Please continue to keep us in prayer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">She concluded her note with a message to her son, \u201cStephen Laurel, your mother loves you to eternity and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In the last months, the former \u201cSo You Think You Can Dance\u201d star\u2019s mom had her son on his 40th birthday, describing the \u201ch<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>iness and pride\u201d she felt for him. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cAll the professional accomplishments not withstanding, what strikes me more is the man you have become&#8230;from a son and brother, to a husband and father,\u201d she <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CjGc2T_v3NP\/\">wrote <\/a>on Sept. 29 alongside a slideshow filled with photos of Boss and his family. \u201cI couldn\u2019t have envisioned a better journey.. Mom thank you for life and thank you for love. Love you to the moon and back and back again. Happy birthday!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<section class=\"embed-widget embedWidget embed-widget--medium\"><\/section>\n<p class=\"\">Boss\u2019 wife, \u201cDancing with the Stars\u201d pro Allison Holker, confirmed his death in a statement on Dec. 14.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cIt is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,\u201d she wrote. \u201cStephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cHe was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt,\u201d she continued. \u201cI am certain there won\u2019t be a day that goes by that we won\u2019t honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our 3 children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Boss and Holker are parents to son Maddox, 6, and daughter Zaia, 3. He also adopted Holker\u2019s daughter, Weslie, from a previous relationship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">TODAY\u2019s Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager fondly remembered Boss, as did Carson Daly and Ellen DeGeneres, who worked with Boss on her talk show for nine years. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">After first releasing a statement, DeGeneres went on to share a video montage of her time with Boss. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cRight now what I want to do is remember all the love and laughter I had with tWitch.
