after Twitter suspensions&#8221;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n        <\/aside>\n<p>Woke Wikipedia users rushed to memorialize <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>\u2019s decision to briefly suspend a clutch of liberal reporters who the company says violated their terms of service. <\/p>\n<p>In an article entry which labeled the event the \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/December_15,_2022_Twitter_suspensions#Response_from_other_commentators\">Thursday Night Massacre (Twitter)<\/a>,\u201d Wikipedia described the decision to briefly suspend the journalists after they shared info related to the flight coordinates of owner Elon Musk\u2019s private jet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe term \u2018Thursday Night Massacre\u2019 wasn\u2019t intended to be editorializing, but rather was the term that was trending on Twitter after the incident and was used by several journalists to describe the event afterwards,\u201d said page author Hunter Kahn, explaining his decision on Wikipedia\u2019s<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Talk:Thursday_Night_Massacre_(Twitter)\"> backend \u201ctalk page.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Other Wikipedia editors disagreed, saying use of the word massacre had been overwrought. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/wiki-teitter-1.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"Elon Musk attends The 2022 Met Gala Celebrating &quot;In America: An Anthology of Fashion&quot; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened to people who write <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>papers,\u201d offered another site editor in an unsigned comment. <\/p>\n<p>Like Twitter before the Musk takeover, Wikipedia has long been accused by critics of having an impenetrable left-wing bias.
