Twitter <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/help.twitter.com\/en\/rules-and-policies\/social-platforms-policy\">will also prohibit users<\/a> from sharing third-party social media link aggregators such as linktr.ee and lnk.bio.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe still allow cross-posting content from any social media platform,\u201d Twitter Support added in its thread. \u201cPosting links or usernames to social media platforms not listed above are also not in violation of this policy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The decision comes as many Twitter users \u2014 angry over Musk\u2019s suspension of tech journalists and other controversial changes \u2014 are looking for a new platform. <\/p>\n<p>The latest policy change follows Musk\u2019s decision to ban Twitter alternative Mastodon\u2019s official account on the platform.<\/p>\n<p>Musk said on Saturday he had lifted the temporary bans on several journalists\u2019 accounts after <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1603609466301059073\">conducting a poll<\/a> in which 59 percent of Twitter users called for those accounts to be restored immediately.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
