Fleenor\/Netflix<\/span><\/p><figcaption><\/figcaption><\/div>\n<div><strong>[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for Season 5, Part 1 of\u00a0<em>Lucifer<\/em>.]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first half of\u00a0<em>Lucifer<\/em> Season 5 has dropped, with an ending as shocking to the characters as the audience: God (Dennis Haysbert) has arrived!<\/p>\n<p>Through the eight episodes, the devil (Tom Ellis) had to contend with his twin, the archangel Michael, trying to ruin his life (including briefly trying to pretend to be him) and getting into Detective Chloe Decker&#8217;s (Lauren German) head about the fact that Lucifer hadn&#8217;t said &#8220;I love you&#8221; after they <em>finally<\/em> got together.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, the demon Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) dealt with losing her mother, Lilith, and learning Lucifer shared a past with her he hadn&#8217;t disclosed by teaming up with Michael (who promised her the soul she wanted that Lucifer swore wasn&#8217;t possible). The archangel also (briefly) had Detective Dan Espinoza (Kevin Alejandro) on his side after he revealed the devil&#8217;s true face (and identity) to Chloe&#8217;s ex-husband. He was very much focused on being a father, which included having to accept that one day, his son wouldn\u2019t need him as much. And then came the revelation that Charlie\u2019s mortal, meaning he\u2019ll die one day. That terrified Amenadiel so much that he didn\u2019t just slow down time (as he hadn\u2019t been able to do) but completely stopped it. The fight with Michael, then God\u2019s arrival, interrupted his conversation with Lucifer about it. (Then again, the same was true for vampires on\u00a0<em>Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em>, and by the end of that <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>, there were two: David Boreanaz\u2019s Angel and James Marsters\u2019 Spike.) Michael promised Maze a soul if she helped him. Could he know something the others don\u2019t? (After all, the series has already seen an angel and a human have a child together\u00a0<em>and<\/em> the devil fall in love.) Or is that a complete lie? When Linda came face-to-face with Adriana (above left), however, she couldn\u2019t bring herself to share who she is to her. She did fill out a form that would release her information to her daughter, should she want it. Will she revert back to the Ella she was at the beginning of the season?
