It\u2019s OK, we\u2019ll suspend disbelief. We like the characters. But, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The second \u201cAvatar\u201d welcomed new young characters who are already \u201cgrowing like a weed.\u201d For instance, actor Trinity Jo-Li Bliss was 7 years old when cast and is now 13. We just add to it. So you can expect to see the Metkayina that you meet in this movie in subsequent movies. Or maybe not. I don\u2019t know,\u201d the \u201cTitanic\u201d director added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Way of Water\u201d \u2014 which had a $250 million budget \u2014 earned a whopping $53 million on its opening day, according to IMDB\u2019s Box Office Mojo. It grossed $435 million globally on its opening weekend, according to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vulture.com\/2022\/12\/avatar-the-way-of-water-opening-weekend-global-box-office.html#:~:text=Avatar%3A%20The%20Way%20of%20Water%20Grosses%20%24435%20Million%20Globally%20on%20Opening%20Weekend,-By%20Bethy%20Squires\">Vulture<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The film has found itself the subject of controversy, from a promotional stunt involving dolphins to its alleged cultural <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ropriation of Native American and Indigenous cultures.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron also made headlines Tuesday when he suggested Matt Damon should \u201cget over\u201d passing on a starring role in the original \u201cAvatar,\u201d which came out in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s beating himself up over this,\u201d Cameron said with a guffaw Friday. \u201cAnd I really think, you know, \u2018Matt, you\u2019re kind of like one of the biggest movie stars in the world, get over it.\u2019 But he had to do another \u2018Bourne\u2019 film, which was on his runway, and there was nothing we could do about that.
