A machine pushes orders to customers at the drive-thru.<\/p>\n<p>In its statement, McDonald\u2019s noted the restaurant is \u201cconsiderably smaller\u201d than its traditional stores because it\u2019s geared to people dining at home or on the go.<\/p>\n<p>There is a room for couriers to retrieve orders; \u201cseveral\u201d parking spaces dedicated to curbside pick-up; and designated parking spaces for delivery drivers.<\/p>\n<p>The foodie\u2019s fast footage \u2014 which is serving 1.3 million views, and counting \u2014 is drawing heated reaction from McFans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they forget an item, who you supposed to tell, the robot?\u201d one TikToker gulped. \u201cIt defeats the purpose of using the drive thru if you have to go inside for it.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo thanks. I love the people that work there. I want to hear voices and see faces. I want to see smiles at both windows!!!!\u201d another grimaced.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>But others are lovin\u2019 it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinally, my order will be quick and accurate,\u201d one user toasted. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAwesome. No more attitude at the counter,\u201d another ribbed.<\/p>\n<p>And everyone seems to agree, robots or not, the ice-cream machine will still be fried.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s emphasized the restaurant is in the \u201ctest and learn\u201d phase, and it\u2019s toying with the concept as part of its \u201cAccelerating the Arches\u201d plan to deliver across five areas: \u201cpurpose, mission, values, growth pillars and our foundation of running great restaurants.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cheeseburger conglomerate has been making many headlines recently, with a woman claiming she decorated her Christmas tree with old Happy Meal toys; a drunk woman insisting she accidentally ordered 160 chicken nuggets celebrating a World Cup win; and a woman giving birth inside an Atlanta-area McDonald\u2019s, nicknaming her baby \u201cLittle Nugget.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully the robots are trained in labor <em>and<\/em> delivery.\n                        <\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
