After several delays, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">he finally released his new album<\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beautiful Mind<\/span><\/i> this year,\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which upon its release kept\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bad Bunny<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> out of the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beautiful Mind <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is Rod Wave\u2019s second No. 1 album following <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SoulFly, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0debuted <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at No. 1 on the chart back in April, 2021. During the first week of its release, the project <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">moved 115,000 equivalent units, of which 113,000 consisted of SEA units, equaling 157.73 million on-demand streams of the album.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 24-track LP features four singles: \u201cBy Your Side,\u201d \u201cCold December,\u201d \u201cStone Rolling\u201d and \u201cAlone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While he\u2019s enjoyed undeniable success as an artist, Rod Wave admitted earlier this year that he missed out on a once and a lifetime opportunity to be featured on <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Drake\u2019s<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cLemon Pepper Freestyle.\u201d Originally slated to appear on the track in 2021, Rod pulled himself off the record after he didn\u2019t like how his verse came out.
