Now there\u2019s an official \u201cMetaverse\u201d experience.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown LP, the real estate conglomerate that owns the One Times Square building and the ball on top, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jamestownlp.com\/news\/ring-in-2021-virtually-from-the-epicenter-of-new-years-eve-celebrations-times-square\">released a \u201cvirtual experience\u201d<\/a> of the ball drop at the end of 2020. It was primarily marketed as a safe way to enjoy the festivities \u2014 the in-person New Year\u2019s Eve party in 2020 was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/12\/30\/nyregion\/times-square-ball-new-years.html\">drastically scaled down<\/a> to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It offered a livestream of the event, as well as a virtual environment to explore before that with some mini-<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s and unlockable content.<\/p>\n<p>The game has stuck around since then, and\u00a0Jamestown LP is promoting it again ahead of New Year\u2019s Eve.
