My heart dropped,\u201d the medical device sales rep said. \u201cI was like, \u2018She found my hiding spot.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Turns out, the ring in the photo just really resembled the one he chose. <\/p>\n<p>Riese, 28, has plans to be in Times Square at midnight with his new fianc\u00e9e, so he thought a pre-ball drop proposal would be fitting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had the idea of maybe going to see the ball \u2026 growing up in New Jersey, I never did that,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would be cool to do, but at the same time, I know how hectic it is. Luckily enough, I have a buddy who has some connections that can maybe get us there and not have to stand out there all day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lovebirds, who live in Providence, RI, met at the University of New Hampshire. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI played football up there, and I had an extra year of eligibility because of redshirting,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I was always up there for that. And coincidentally, one of our friends was an athletic trainer and helping on the team and she was friends with her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Riese said their connection was already <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>arent on their very first date, when they both ordered the same thing\u00a0\u2014\u00a0a Caesar salad topped with steak. \u201cAnd it\u2019s kind of funny because it worked out where now that happens on a regular basis,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>And he quickly came to the realization that McCarthy, 27, a Massachusetts native who works as an account executive for an e-commerce company, was his perfect match.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything that I wanted in a girlfriend and a wife, she was hitting all of those qualities,\u201d he gushed.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
