Smith has called on Dana White to punish himself after sl<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ing his wife.<\/p>\n<p>An incident involving the UFC boss and his wife, Anne, was recorded at a nightclub in Cabo, Mexico on New Year\u2019s Eve. In a video published by TMZ, White could be seen saying something to his wife, who then slapped him. White slapped her twice in response, before the two were quickly separated.<\/p>\n<p>Smith addressed the matter on \u201cFirst Take,\u201d on Wednesday and called on White to dole out discipline to himself that he would with one of his fighters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to maintain consistency in pointing out \u2014 you do not put your hands on a woman if you are a man. I love the guy personally. So this is a very hard subject for me. We talk all the time. We certainly connected, briefly, since this happened. He knew there\u2019s no way on Earth that I wasn\u2019t going to talk about it. My heart goes out to his family because this is a very, very embarrassing situation. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe says it has never, ever happened before. He is completely ashamed and utterly disgusted with himself that he finds himself in this situation where he would have ever done such a thing to a woman he\u2019s been married to for 30 years, who\u2019s the mother of his three children, and he makes no excuses for it. I think it\u2019s important to point that out. ESPN is the exclusive rightsholder of UFC, and earlier this week former ESPN talent Dan Le Batard wondered if the network would hold White\u2019s feet to the fire.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, White described domestic violence as a career ender in UFC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s one thing that you never bounce back from and that\u2019s putting your hands on a woman,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mmafighting.com\/2014\/9\/11\/6134395\/morning-report-ufc-ray-rice-dana-white-roger-goodell-ronda-rousey-joe-rogan-mma-news?_gl=1*5659zi*\">he said at the time<\/a>. \u201cBeen that way in the UFC since we started here. And, now here I am on TMZ talking about it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy wife and I have been married for almost 30 years. We\u2019ve known each other since we were 12 years old. We\u2019ve obviously been through some s\u2013t together. We\u2019ve got three kids, and this is one of those situations that\u2019s horrible. I\u2019m embarrassed, but it\u2019s also one of those situations where right now we\u2019re more concerned about our kids.
