Since then the Chrisley parents themselves as well as their children have spoken out about the sentencing. They\u2019re all preparing for their lives to change in a big way \u2014 and Julie being separated from Todd is no exception. But maybe that\u2019s not as bad as it sounds, at least not according to the matriarch. It seems she\u2019s been able to find some comfort in the midst of all the chaos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Prince Harry\u2019s Past Cocaine Use &amp; He Lost Virginity To An \u2018Older Woman\u2019 Behind A Pub!<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>On the most recent episode of the podcast <em>Chrisley Confessions<\/em> the 50-year-old spoke to her future daughter-in-law, her son <strong>Chase<\/strong>\u2018s fianc\u00e9e <strong>Emmy Medders<\/strong>. The couple will no doubt face some difficulties in their relationship for when they\u2019re separated behind bars, but Julie said she\u2019s thankful the circumstances aren\u2019t worse than what they are:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63b766ca0bde3-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThere is that possibility of my husband and I being separated. But there\u2019s a difference between my husband and I being separated for a period of time and having to say goodbye forever. It almost makes me feel ashamed that I\u2019m even worried. Unless the good Lord intervenes, [your mom is] going to have to say goodbye to her husband and she won\u2019t see him again this side of heaven.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She\u2019s got strong faith that her relationship will be able to stand the test of prison time! What a positive outlook to have in the midst of such a life-changing moment.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>The <em>Chrisley Knows Best<\/em> star continued to say Emmy\u2019s mother caring for her husband put things into perspective for her own relationship\u2019s situation:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63b766ca0bde7-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI think it puts things into perspective for me because we all think our hard is the hardest thing. \u2026 You\u2019re entitled to feel how you feel.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Julie recalled a bit of advice she got from a friend, quoting:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe tears that you shed are sowing the seeds for your future.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63b766ca0bdea-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Adding on, she admits this whole sentencing has tested her emotional strength in ways she\u2019s never experienced before:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c[Friend\u2019s advice] has been such a source of strength for me because I have not typically been a crier and this whole experience has truly taken me to my knees.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>In response, Emmy said what her future in-laws are going through really \u201cchanges the way you see life\u201d.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63b766ca0bded-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Julie and Todd are due to arrive at Marianna and Pensacola, Florida respectively on January 17 to serve their time, so the clock is quickly ticking down for the family.
