\n New York\u2019s serial subway window smashers are app<\/a>arently undeterred by MTA\u2019s $10,000 reward for information leading to their arrest.<\/p>\n

Transit workers reported another 39 broken windows in two separate incidents on the 7 train on Monday \u2014 just hours after the MTA announced the bounty, according to the agency.<\/p>\n

Workers spotted the cracked glass \u2014 19 windows at 5:22 p.m. and another 20 at 8:51 p.m. \u2014 at 34th Street-Hudson Yards station, the 7 train\u2019s Manhattan terminus.<\/p>\n

\u201cOk now I\u2019m really concerned for the safety of the <\/span>#TrainCrews<\/span> on the 7 Line,\u201d the worker, who uses the Twitter<\/a> handle @Trip<\/a>leG_RTO, posted along with the video. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c[Enough] is enough its time to catch this guy before he #Hurts somebody.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The incident brings the total number of windows smashed since May to around 450 and the total cost of repairs to over $300,000, according to the MTA.<\/p>\n

Monday\u2019s vandalism added another $19,500 to that total, agency spokesman Tim Minton said.<\/p>\n

There have been 70 window-smashing incidents on subway cars since May 8, the MTA said Monday. The trail of destruction has been so extensive that the agency is on the verge of running out of glass.<\/p>\n

Police and transit officials remain tight-lipped about whether they think the crimes are being committed by one person or a group of people.<\/p>\n

The repeated acts of vandalism have led to hundreds of delays, according to internal MTA records.<\/p>\n

The NYPD is offering another $2,500 on top of the MTA\u2019s bounty.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s important that we have the public\u2019s assistance here\u201d in nabbing the suspect, NYPD Transit Chief Edward Delatorre told reporters Monday.<\/p>\n
