Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">theme<\/a> will be \u201cLand of Opportunity,\u201d which the campaign says \u201cwill honor the opportunities all Americans have because of President Trump\u2019s policies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters Tuesday, Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh reiterated the commander-in-chief\u2019s promise to speak every night of the four-day event, saying that he \u201cwill have a significant role again tonight and will appear more than once during the programming.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"First_Lady_Melania_Trump\"><\/span><strong>First Lady Melania Trump<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Mrs. Trump will deliver her remarks live from the White House Rose Garden, which has just undergone a weeks-long renovation at the first lady\u2019s request.<\/p>\n<p>The update, announced in late July, included electrical upgrades for TV appearances, a new walkway and new flowers and shrubs.<\/p>\n<p>The project was meant to be an \u201cact of expressing hope and optimism for the future,\u201d the first lady said at the time.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Secretary_of_State_Mike_Pompeo\"><\/span><strong>Secretary of State Mike Pompeo\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The secretary of state will deliver his remarks from Jerusalem, where he is currently on a diplomatic mission for the US in its ongoing push to develop Arab-Israeli relations following the recent Israel-UAE deal.<\/p>\n<p>Lawyers close to the nation\u2019s top diplomat, including State Department legal counsel and Pompeo\u2019s personal lawyer, have advised him on the speech to ensure that he does not cross any ethical lines.<\/p>\n<p>Ethics concerns were raised after it became clear that Pompeo would be delivering the address while on official State Department business, potentially preventing the department from remaining apolitical.<\/p>\n<p>The State Department has distanced itself from the speech, saying in a statement that \u201cSecretary Pompeo will address the convention in his personal capacity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo State Department resources will be used. Staff are not involved in preparing the remarks or in the arrangements for Secretary Pompeo\u2019s appearance. The State Department will not bear any costs in conjunction with this appearance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His speech, which was prerecorded, will largely focus on Trump\u2019s \u201cAmerica First\u201d foreign policy agenda.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Nicholas_Sandmann\"><\/span><strong>Nicholas Sandmann<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Also slated to speak is Nicholas Sandmann, the Covington Catholic High School student who settled multiple major lawsuits against several <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> outlets over their coverage of his encounter with a Native American activist.<\/p>\n<p>Sandmann and a group of his classmates were vilified online in March of last year after they were filmed wearing \u201cMake America Great Again\u201d hats following an anti-abortion rally while being yelled at by demonstrators.<\/p>\n<p>The teen was singled out after footage of his confrontation with Native American activist Nathan Phillips was picked up by multiple news outlets, who quickly claimed the incident was racially motivated.<\/p>\n<p>Footage released later on, however, showed that the Covington students were the ones who were actually being harassed.<\/p>\n<p>When he was announced as a speaker, Sandmann tweeted, \u201cI can\u2019t tell you all enough about how excited I am to be apart of this years RNC!\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eric_Trump\"><\/span><strong>Eric Trump<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Eric Trump, 36, took a leading role managing the president\u2019s business empire since he took office in 2017. He\u2019s married to Trump campaign adviser Lara Trump.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s less involved in politics than his older siblings Donald Trump Jr., who works on the campaign in an official capacity, and Ivanka Trump, who followed Trump to the White House as an adviser. But Eric Trump is occasionally seen at White House events and has spoken at campaign rallies to warm up the crowd for his father.<\/p>\n<p>His public remarks often hew closely to his father\u2019s political messaging.<\/p>\n<p>At Trump\u2019s Tulsa, Oklahoma, rally in late June, he told the crowd \u201cthere is no family that will work harder than ours\u201d to win.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf [reporters] don\u2019t see my father for three minutes, they\u2019re complaining that he\u2019s not being \u2018transparent\u2019. Joe Biden hasn\u2019t been out in 79 days in the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> gives him a complete pass,\u201d Eric Trump said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you watch the nonsense on TV, when you see these animals literally taking over our cities, right? \u2014 burning down churches, this isn\u2019t, this isn\u2019t America. That that\u2019s not what Americans do,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Eric\u2019s brother Don Jr. and his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, spoke Monday on the opening night of the convention, which is mostly being held remotely due to the coronavirus pandemic. His younger sister Tiffany Trump also will speak Tuesday.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tiffany_Trump\"><\/span><strong>Tiffany Trump<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Tiffany is the president\u2019s youngest daughter and only child with second wife, Marla Marples.<\/p>\n<p>The 26-year-old keeps a low profile compared to her other more famous siblings and is rarely seen in public.<\/p>\n<p>She recently graduated from Georgetown University Law in Washington, DC and before that, attended her father\u2019s alma matter, the University of Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p>Tiffany gave a well-received speech at the 2016 Republican convention where she spoke about her father in personal terms and described him as an encouraging and supportive father.<\/p>\n<p>The quiet Trump heiress does sometimes make appearances at large events with her boyfriend, billionaire heir and business executive Michael Boulos.<\/p>\n<p>The couple attended the July 3 fireworks celebration at Mount Rushmore and were seen at a Trump boat parade in Montauk, NY. earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Other notable names scheduled for tonight\u2019s event include White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Iowa Gov.
