\n Hillary Clinton has some advice for Joe Biden: If it is a close race on election night, do \u201cnot concede under any circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a clip from an interview with her former campaign staffer Jennifer Palmieri on Showtime\u2019s docu-series<\/a> \u201cThe Circus,\u201d the failed 2016 presidential candidate was asked what she thought President Trump and the Republican Party would do if Biden triumphed in November.<\/p>\n

Clinton speculated the GOP would try \u201cmessing up absentee balloting\u201d and would launch lengthy legal battles with an army of lawyers to contest the result. The Trump campaign has already begun suing states like New Jersey over their mail-in ballot plans.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got to have a massive legal operation, and I know the Biden campaign is working on that,\u201d Clinton says \u2014 predicting a bitter and messy election and urging fellow Democrats to not give \u201can inch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to have our own teams of people to counter the force of intimidate that the Republicans and Trump are going to put outside polling places,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cJoe Biden should not concede under any circumstances because I think this is going to drag out and eventually I do believe he will win if we don\u2019t give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Trump has repeatedly suggested that the election result will be delayed for \u201cyears\u201d if an unprecedented number of mail-in ballots are cast amid the pandemic, and has claimed that the Democrats are trying to steal the election.<\/p>\n

The former Democratic Party nominee lamented her own loss to Trump in 2016, in which she was heavily favored to win before he eked out wins in several swing states.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can win 3 million more votes and not get elected because of the Electoral College. It all comes down to the Electoral College,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The controversial former first lady and secretary of state has regularly sniped from the sidelines since losing four years ago, and in a keynote speech at last week\u2019s Democratic convention, urged voters to show up for Biden in a way they did not for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor four years, people have said to me, \u2018I didn\u2019t realize how dangerous he was.\u2019 \u2018I wish I could go back and do it over.\u2019 Or worse, \u2018I should have voted,\u2019\u201d Clinton said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, this can\u2019t be another \u2018woulda coulda shoulda\u2019 election.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
