Cori Bush (D-Mo.) consistently exploit this racial loophole when they find it politically expedient. And in the midst of a tumultuous House speaker race, like a reflex, Bush couldn\u2019t help herself, verbalizing her disgust for Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) suddenly being floated as a candidate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFWIW, @ByronDonalds is not a historic candidate for Speaker. He is a prop. Despite being Black, he supports a policy agenda intent on upholding and perpetuating white supremacy. His name being in the mix is not progress \u2014 it\u2019s pathetic,\u201d Bush tweeted Wednesday.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/coleman-cori-bush-985.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"Donalds has previously said that he was excluded from the Congressional Black Caucus.\" class=\"wp-image-25272448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/coleman-cori-bush-985.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/coleman-cori-bush-985.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/coleman-cori-bush-985.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Byron Donalds garnered 20 votes as Speaker of the House. <\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">REUTERS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Hours later, Donalds responded: \u201cFWIW, nobody asked @CoriBush her opinion on the matter. Before you judge my agenda, let\u2019s have a debate over the policies and the outcomes. Until then, don\u2019t be a crab in a barrel!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bush <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/cori-bush-byron-donalds-house-speaker_n_63b5e44be4b0cbfd55e609be\">attempted to clarify<\/a> her statement by saying she doesn\u2019t have a problem with him being black and Republican, but because his name wasn\u2019t mentioned earlier, she believes he\u2019s being used as a prop. Yet Rep. Jim Jordan\u2019s name was also thrown into the mix for speaker, and she doesn\u2019t see <em>him <\/em>as a prop.<\/p>\n<p>If progressives like Bush actually cared about black people being used as props or tokens, she would have had a problem with Joe Biden wanting specifically a black woman to be his vice president before selecting Kamala Harris. She would have wagged her finger at Democratic pundits and strategists advocating a black female to take a Supreme Court Justice seat before Biden chose Ketanji Brown Jackson. Why aren\u2019t they considered pawns or tokens?<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>Bush behaves much like many progressives who pretend their words come from a heartfelt place of caring when they\u2019re actually a manifestation of their guttural disgust for a black face that occupies space on the opposite political wing.<\/p>\n<p>She wasn\u2019t lovingly warning him he was being used as a black political pawn \u2014 she was looking down upon him with condescension because she believes he\u2019s too na\u00efve to know when he\u2019s being manipulated.<\/p>\n<p>Cori Bush is only a much larger public face for the behavior exemplified by progressives who exploit the loophole for racial animus towards black Americans if they\u2019re politically \u201cblacking wrong.\u201d We saw the same thing after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade as most of the hatred was directed at Clarence Thomas; \u201cUncle Clarence\u201d trended on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> within hours, though he\u2019d voted with a majority and didn\u2019t write the opinion.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s become so commonplace on Twitter that an account, \u201cChronicles of Racist Liberals\u201d (@liberalsracists), documents the overlooked epidemic of racism from the political left directed specifically at black conservatives and Republicans with offensive racial slurs, racially charged demeaning language and, often for dramatic effect, language laced with slavery references.<\/p>\n<p>One Twitter user asked, \u201cWho the hell is Byron Donalds?\u201d and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/liberalsracists\/status\/1610855410864656389\">got the response<\/a>: \u201cHouse version of Tim Scott. An Uncle Tom in training.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) is a frequent target: \u201cAging white Maga males laughing at Tim Scott for him imagining they really give a fk about what he says or does. They look at Uncle Tim as a way to get black voters to vote maga instead of for their own interests . . . look there\u2019s our negro.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But he\u2019s not the only one. \u201cNo self-respecting Black man would ever be a Republican,\u201d someone <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/liberalsracists\/status\/1606359762249056264\">tweeted<\/a>. \u201cYou\u2019re nothing but a white boy in black skin Uncle Tom house n\u2014-r,\u201d another user <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/liberalsracists\/status\/1606471895372779521\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/coleman-cori-bush-987.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"McCarthy needs 218 votes to become Speaker of the House.\" class=\"wp-image-25272449\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/coleman-cori-bush-987.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/coleman-cori-bush-987.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/coleman-cori-bush-987.jpg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Kevin McCarthy lost 13 votes to become Speaker of the House.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">AFP via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Of course, this speech isn\u2019t the hate speech the mainstream media and left-wing politicians have in mind when advocating censorship on Big Tech since to them racism against black conservatives isn\u2019t really racism \u2014 because they aren\u2019t really black.<\/p>\n<p>The people who would call someone like Byron Donalds a \u201chouse n\u2014-er\u201d for not being in lockstep with the Democratic Party truly believe they are morally superior and black people\u2019s allies.<\/p>\n<p>The white-privilege progressives don\u2019t talk about is the ability to think for yourself and vote for whomever you want without being considered a traitor to your race. If you\u2019re white and vote Republican, the progressive left will hate your politics; but if you\u2019re black and vote Republican, the progressive left will say you hate yourself.<\/p>\n<p>It would sound strange for someone to tell a white person that a vote for a particular political party makes him or her a traitor to the white race.<\/p>\n<p>It should also sound strange when someone says that to a black person.<\/p>\n<p><em>Adam B.
