The r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ers\u2019 labels, Atlantic and Generation Now, as well as \u201cStrawberry Peels\u201d producer Wheezy, are also named in the lawsuit.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit200\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to court documents, Sun City never gave Uzi permission to use the sample of the track. And because \u201cStrawberry Peels\u201d has proved to be a hit \u2014 amassing over 39 million Spotify streams, more than four million plays on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a> and raked in over $1 million \u2014 Sun City wants at least that amount in damages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStrawberry Peels\u201d was featured on Lil Uzi Vert\u2019s <em>Eternal Atake<\/em> album, which dropped in 2020. The song finds the trio rapping about their frequent drug use and excessive jewelry flexing. Blackout\u2019s \u201cDim da Lights\u201d was featured on the Memphis rap group\u2019s 1995 album <em>Dreamworld<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border-radius:12px\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/track\/6mhfEMpJu90VQjHF4CrwJI?utm_source=generator\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border-radius:12px\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/track\/4lAQfuREAHG8IC0PiiigBt?utm_source=generator\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit is just the latest legal headache for Young Thug and Gunna, who were indicted last year in a massive RICO case against their Young Slime Life (YSL) collective, which prosecutors allege is a \u201ccriminal street gang\u201d behind a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of violent crimes in and around Atlanta.<\/p>\n<p>Gunna secured his freedom by pleading guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge on December 14 and was subsequently released from jail. He was sentenced to five years with one year served, accounting for the time he\u2019d spent behind bars since being arrested in May.<\/p>\n<p>Thug, on the other hand, is facing eight out of a possible 65 charges.
