In fact, we invite you to come join us on the strike line after you\u2019ve gotten the care you need. Kathy Hochul said that the state Department of Health \u201cwill continue to enforce staffing requirements under the law at these hospitals to maintain the delivery of essential health care services to the community and protect patient health and safety.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLikewise, the Health Department will continue to ensure that all providers are meeting the requirements of the law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Eric Adams said Sunday that the city is \u201cprepared for a potential strike\u201d but \u201chopeful that all parties keep working to reach a voluntary agreement.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He warned of \u201cpossible delayed or limited service\u201d at affected hospitals and urged New Yorkers to call 911 only in emergencies, and to seek care elsewhere if their preferred hospital is affected.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
