But, in the past few days, many users have reported that one of the most-used features isn\u2019t working correctly: the sleep timer.<\/p>\n<p>The sleep timer is supposed to shut off the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> you\u2019re listening to, like music, podcasts, and audiobooks, after a predetermined time. But, as some users on the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.googlenestcommunity.com\/t5\/Speakers-and-Displays\/Google-Nest-Mini-Sleep-command\/m-p\/307379\">Google Nest forum<\/a> report, the music keeps playing once that time has elapsed. The issue has persisted for about a month, according to posters.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s worse is that Google Assistant <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to accept the voice command to set a sleep timer. When users think a command has been received and get in bed, once the timer elapses and music keeps playing, they either have to get out of bed and turn it off manually or allow the music to play through the night while they sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Our Editor in Chief, Josh Hendrickson, independently confirmed the buggy sleep timer on his personal Google device. He says, \u201cit accepts the command, says it sets a timer. But, it doesn\u2019t stop the music.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Google is aware of the problem with the sleep timer and has acknowledged that it is working on a fix in a tweet response to a customer complaint about the bug.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We appreciate your tweet and we&#8217;re sorry if you have to go through this. Our team is aware about the sleep timers not working on Google Home devices and is already working on a fix. The first is to set a sleep timer manually in the application you\u2019re listening to. Google Play Music has had its own sleep timer since 2016.
