DeMille Award for \u201coutstanding contributions to the world of entertainment\u201d and brought the house down as he ended his speech with a joke at Smith\u2019s expense. <\/p>\n<p>After giving a somewhat subdued address reflecting on his four-decade career, the funnyman signed off by saying he had advice for young actors looking to achieve success. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to let you know that there is a definitive blueprint that you can follow to achieve success, prosperity, longevity and peace of mind,\u201d Murphy softly stated. There\u2019s a blueprint, and I followed it my whole career. It\u2019s very simple, it\u2019s three things. You just do these three things: Pay your taxes. Mind your business \u2026 And keep Will Smith\u2019s wife\u2019s name out of your f- -king mouth!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Murphy rose his voice when delivering his final piece of advice, mimicking Smith\u2019s on-stage tantrum that overshadowed last year\u2019s Academy Awards. Please!
