Sadly she did not pull through.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Lisa Marie\u2019s Ex Performed CPR Until Medics Arrived<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Priscilla confirmed the news in a statement to\u00a0<em>People<\/em>, saying:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63c123dbb0498-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cShe was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63c123dbb049d-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Another terrible loss for a family who has seen their share.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone knows Elvis was taken far too young at only 42 years old \u2014 when Lisa Marie was only 9. But sadly that was not the last premature loss for the Presleys. In June 2020 Lisa Marie\u2019s son\u00a0<strong>Benjamin Keough<\/strong>, whom she shared with her first husband <strong>Danny Keough<\/strong>, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a party. He was only 27. Benjamin\u2019s sudden passing left Lisa Marie \u201cbeyond devastated\u201d; according to a source at the time, she was only holding things together for eldest daughter\u00a0<strong>Riley Keough<\/strong> and her young twins, <strong>Finley Aaron Love Lockwood<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood<\/strong>. Last August she penned an essay for <em>People<\/em> about the loss, writing:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-13\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\u201cDeath is part of life whether we like it or not \u2014 and so is grieving. There is so much to learn and understand on the subject, but here\u2019s what I know so far: One is that grief does not stop or go away in any sense, a year, or years after the loss. Grief is something you will have to carry with you for the rest of your life, in spite of what certain people or our culture wants us to believe. You do not \u2018get over it,\u2019 you do not \u2018move on,\u2019 period\u2026<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63c123dbb04a1-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>It\u2019s a real choice to keep going, one that I have to make every single day and one that is constantly challenging to say the least \u2026 But I keep going for my girls. I keep going because my son made it very clear in his final moments that taking care of his little sisters and looking out for them were on the forefront of his concerns and his mind. He absolutely adored them and they him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Even more crushing to read now\u2026<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Lisa Marie Presley followed after her father. As a musician she released three albums throughout her life. However, as a celebrity from the time of her birth she was always better known for her personal life \u2014 and eventually some very high-profile relationships. She was married to <strong>Michael Jackson<\/strong> and shortly after to <strong>Nicolas Cage<\/strong>. She followed those with a turbulent marriage to\u00a0<strong>Michael Lockwood<\/strong>.
