The complaint alleges that Roiland \u201cdid wilfully and unlawfully inflict corporal injury resulting a traumatic condition\u201d upon a Jane Doe \u201cwho was in a dating relationship with the defendant.\u201d The complaint further alleges that Roiland \u201cdid unlawfully violate the personal liberty of Jane Doe by violence, menace, fraud and deceit.\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/tech\/internet\/justin-roiland-rick-morty-allegations-domestic-violence-charges-rcna65403\">NBC News <\/a>was the first to report the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Roiland pleaded not guilty in 2020, according to the court docket, and was released on a $50,000 bond in August of that year. Hearings in the case have continued since, with the latest occurring on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    In a statement, Roiland\u2019s attorney T. Edward Welbourn said, \u201cIt is hard to overstate how inaccurate the recent <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> coverage of this situation has been. To be clear, not only is Justin innocent but we also have every expectation that this matter is on course to be dismissed once the district attorney\u2019s office has completed its methodical review of the evidence. We look forward to clearing Justin\u2019s name and helping him move forward as swiftly as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    When reached on Thursday, Adult Swim, which distributes <em>Rick and Morty<\/em>, had no comment. <em>The Hollywood Reporter <\/em>has additionally reached out to Hulu, which distributes <em>Solar Opposites<\/em>, for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    NBC News has reported that \u201ca protective order filed in October 2020 and documented in the court minutes said Roiland is not to harass, threaten or surveil the person named in the protective order.\u201d The news outlet also reported that during Thursday\u2019s pre-trial hearing, Roiland\u2019s attorney stated that the show creator had been presented with a plea offer; no other details of the plea offer were immediately available.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    In addition to his work as a show creator, Roiland has voice acted in a long list of projects, with roles including playing main characters on his own<em> Rick and Morty<\/em> (as Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith) and <em>Solar Opposites<\/em> (as Korvo) and additional <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earances on <em>Mystery <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Science<\/a> Theater 3000<\/em>, <em>Adventure Time<\/em> and <em>Robot Chicken,<\/em> among other projects.
