Heavy is the head that wears the crown so got a big legacy to [live] up to,\u201d he replied to <em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2023\/01\/16\/christian-combs-diddy-nepo-baby-dismisses\/\">TMZ<\/a>.<\/em> \u201cRight now, Bad Boy, we number one. Let\u2019s go, baby.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like I\u2019m blessed. I\u2019m gonna take the legacy far \u2014 further and further. Bad Boy for life, you know what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Diddy&#039;s Son Christian Combs Dismisses &#039;Nepo Baby&#039; Label | TMZ\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tC92aEONnKs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>King Combs didn\u2019t have much of a message other than to stop hating when it came to people recently criticizing the kin of rich celebrities.<\/p>\n<p>A large portion of the debate was sparked by <em><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vulture.com\/article\/hollywood-nepotism-babies-list-taxonomy.html#_ga=2.245909764.1047337235.1671484867-1260223260.1663963529\">Vulture<\/a><\/em> report in December which provided \u201can all but definitive guide to the Hollywood nepo-verse\u201d spotlighting actors, artists and directors who are children of established entertainment professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The discourse reached O\u2019Shea Jackson Jr., who is the son of Ice Cube, and he straddled both sides of the nepotism argument, pointing out the work he\u2019s put into his career while also acknowledging the support of his rap legend father.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy dad told me in a perfect world, I would play him in straight outta compton,\u201d he began. \u201cI was already in college for screenwriting at USC. I accepted the challenge. And auditioned for two years before getting the role. After that it was up to me, he couldn\u2019t hold my hand through my career.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit\u201c300\u201d\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI had to get my ass up and make it work. From the roles I chose. The work ethic I put into them. My professionalism on sets and promo tours. Even leaving HIS agency and goin to find a team of my own.
