Cohen\u2019s stake is small relative to Alibaba\u2019s<br \/>\n        BABA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/201948298\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+3.41%<\/bg-quote><\/p>\n<p>        9988,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/215112034\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+0.97%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       $300 billion market value.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Cohen reportedly first contacted Alibaba in August last year to tell the board its shares were undervalued and that it could achieve double-digit sales growth and up to 20% growth in free cash flow in the next five years.<\/p>\n<p>Alibaba said in November that the board had accepted the expansion of the company\u2019s share repurchase program by $15 billion. It has been extended to a total $40 billion until March 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Cohen has reportedly also told the board that the plan could be boosted to $60 billion, and added that <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le\u2019s<br \/>\n        AAPL,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/202934861\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+1.01%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       buyback program, where he owns more than $800 million worth of shares, could be mirrored.<\/p>\n<p>Alibaba\u2019s shares have been dampened by consumer sentiment in China amid the country\u2019s strict Covid-19 protocol and was targeted by Beijing\u2019s crackdown on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> companies.<\/p>\n<p>Its ADR stock has scaled 60% from lows in October last year, but are still lower than the highs of trading at $300 seen in late 2020.
