The ETP im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely starts trading on the local stock exchange BX Swiss under the ticker STAKE.<\/p>\n<p>At launch, 21Shares\u2019 STAKE ETP tracks six digital assets, including Binance Coin (BNB), Cardano (ADA), Cosmos (ATOM), Polkadot (DOT), Solana (SOL) and Tezos (XTZ). The index will rebalance on a semi-annual basis in March and September in accordance with market shifts.<\/p>\n<p>With addition of STAKE, 21Shares and its parent firm 21.co now provide a total of 47 crypto ETP products across 12 exchanges in nine countries. The ETPs aim to provide investors with a safe and secure way to gain exposure to crypto, offering an alternative to direct crypto investment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSTAKE provides value for investors by using the ETP\u2019s assets to generate a passive yield that may offer additional returns by contributing to the network\u2019s security,\u201d 21.co director of ETP Arthur Krause said in a statement to Cointelegraph.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of STAKE ETP comes a few years after 21Shares started experimenting with staking ETPs. In 2019, 21Shares <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/21shares.com\/product\/axtz\">debuted<\/a> the 21Shares Tezos Staking ETP (AXTZ) and then <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/21shares.com\/product\/asol\">launched<\/a> the 21Shares Solana Staking ETP (ASOL) in June 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Both products experienced a significant decline in 2022, which came in line with a massive bear market in crypto last year. On the other hand, the ETPs have been growing so far in 2023 with year-to-date performance surging 38% for AXTZ, and 78% for ASOL.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Ethereum founder says he hopes Solana gets a \u2018chance to thrive\u2019<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Krause emphasized that assets like Solana \u2014 which is widely linked to the collapsed FTX exchange \u2014 have not had any impact on 21Shares\u2019 products, stating:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cSolana \u2014 like virtually all other crypto assets \u2014 experienced significant price declines in 2022 but suffered no fundamental impairment that would preclude its inclusion in the index.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The STAKE&#8217;s launch comes after some major global regulators expressed concerns about cryptocurrency staking. In September, the United States\u2019 Securities and Exchange Commission chairman Gary Gensler argued that crypto staking looks \u201cvery similar\u201d to lending, referring to massive failures in the crypto lending industry amid the bear market of 2022. Thailand&#8217;s Securities and Exchange Commission also banned crypto firms from offering staking and lending services in September.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be clear, the 21Shares Staking Basket ETP does not engage in any lending whatsoever,\u201d Krause emphasized.
