According to The Game, his main goal was to tell his story and give his son a chance to live a different life than his father had.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit200\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>He also saluted 50 Cent and Dr. Dre for everything they did to help him out. Both 50 and Dre served as executive producers on the album, and The Game was also signed to G-Unit and Aftermath, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c18 years ago today\u2026. A hip hop classic was born,\u201d The Game captioned his post. \u201cAll I wanted to do was tell my story &amp; make sure my son would never live the life I did. @snoopdogg passed me the torch, @bustarhymes kept me focused\u2026 @drdre laid the foundation &amp; @50cent helped put the puzzle together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u201cI took @jonathanmannion to the depths of Compton, California &amp; showed him the heart of what I survived. He captured the essence of my city, my hood &amp; brought to the world my vision. One of the most recent incidents saw Game claim that Kanye West did more for him than Dr. Dre on an episode of <em>Drink Champs<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s crazy that Ye did more for me in the last two weeks than [Dr.] Dre did for me my whole career,\u201d he told the <em>Drink Champs<\/em> crew. A few months later, he admitted during a conversation on the <em>I Am Athlete<\/em> podcast that he was hurt by Dre not inviting him to\u00a0perform with him at the\u00a0Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe real reason I wasn\u2019t on the Super Bowl is because I\u2019m not a \u2018safe\u2019 artist,\u201d he said. \u201cYou don\u2019t know what Game gon\u2019 do when he get up there. They went with the \u2018safe\u2019 artists.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for 50 Cent, The Game\u00a0called the G-Unit boss a \u201cbitch\u201d whilst performing at a recent concert in Houston, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m a tell everybody in here: I still don\u2019t fuck with 50 Cent. He a bitch n-gga,\u201d Game said. \u201cIt ain\u2019t no cut with that n-gga. Next time we in the same place n-gga, shit getting thrown.
