Discovery has named former Scripps Networks Interactive boss Kenneth Lowe to its board. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    His <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointment is effective April 2, and he will stand for election by the company\u2019s stockholders at the annual meeting of stockholders later this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Lowe served as chairman of the board, president and CEO of Scripps Networks Interactive from its split with The E.W. Scripps Company in 2008 until its sale to Discovery, Inc. in 2018.\u00a0 He served as President and CEO of The E.W. Scripps Company from 2000 until 2008.\u00a0 Prior to 2000, Lowe was Chairman and CEO of Scripps Networks, where he built it into one of the fastest-growing and most successful creators of unique content and lifestyle brands for television. Lowe was also a member of the Discovery Board of Directors from March 2018 until the closing of the company\u2019s acquisition of the Warner<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a> business in April of 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    \u201cKen is\u00a0a widely admired media visionary\u00a0with tremendous experience in building, integrating and growing global media businesses.\u00a0 His impressive track record includes\u00a0his\u00a0distinguished tenure\u00a0as\u00a0a member of the\u00a0Discovery, Inc.\u00a0board\u00a0during a period of transformation\u00a0following the Scripps acquisition.\u00a0WBD\u00a0will benefit\u00a0enormously\u00a0from his wisdom, background and history\u00a0of stewarding global media companies during a time of transition and opportunity,\u201d\u00a0said\u00a0Samuel A. Di Piazza, Jr.,\u00a0chair of the WBD board.\u00a0\u201cAs\u00a0the company\u00a0looks\u00a0to advance\u00a0its\u00a0strategic priorities,\u00a0Ken\u2019s entrepreneurial spirit, deep industry knowledge and distinctive\u00a0insights into the WBD brands\u00a0make him a uniquely valuable addition to the Board.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n    Lowe will be filling the vacancy created by the upcoming retirement of Robert R.
