Music signee had previously announced his retirement from rap in the wake of TakeOff\u2019s death last November but changed his mind a few days later, proclaiming he\u2019s gotta keep going because music is his therapy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit\u201c200\u201d\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not gonna stop. Music is my therapy,\u201d Desiigner <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vladtv.com\/article\/289210\/update-desiigner-says-hes-no-longer-retiring-from-making-music\">said<\/a> on his IG Stories. \u201cLost a lot of bros this year. We all say things out of emotions but the truth is in me being able to let out a good cry [helped] me see things more clearer now. Music and Def Jam. In an interview with<em> VladTV<\/em> last September, Desiigner said he left Kanye West\u2019s label because of a lack of mentorship from Ye.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reason why I left Ye is \u2019cause I was going through a little mental thing,\u201d Desiigner told Vlad. \u201cI was just coming up out of high school, my pops just went into a coma. While I was on tour, I was having a great time but I just knew something at home was happening with my mom and my pops health and shit. So it was just like, I wanted Ye to talk to and it was hard to speak on it. So I wound up just like, I don\u2019t know man, I was just going through it. I had like a young emotional stage at that time, but I was having so much fun, bro.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cI couldn\u2019t express myself, what was going on at the crib to my label mates. So maybe I shouldn\u2019t have brung my emotion into the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>. But it was just something like, I was young, I never was taught not to keep your emotions out the game. Because I was coming from a place where not too many people made it bro. All we got is emotion in the hood. Let him know what he could say on the interviews, certain shit, because I was getting nervous, I can\u2019t lie.
