Funk ain\u2019t even understand what was going on,\u201d J.I.D told the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fRr0u4ZDffo\"><em>Rap Radar Podcast<\/em><\/a>. \u201cHe was kerfuffled, I was giving him something and he ain\u2019t even get it. We might go back one day. I silently retired away from the freestyles because I was mad at Flex because he didn\u2019t respond the way I wanted to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Atlanta rapper added that not getting one of Flex\u2019s famous bombs during his freestyle or \u201cnone of the hype\u201d that the New York DJ has given to other rappers in that past put his nose out of joint. But he did say that he\u2019ll probably make a return to freestyling as \u201cit\u2019s another part of the art, it\u2019s another notch on your tool belt.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit300\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>After seeing J.I.D\u2019s comments, Flex took to Instagram on Friday (January 20) to praise the Atlanta rapper, labeling him one of his favorite artists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDID YALL KNOW THAT @JIDSV IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ARTIST?\u201d the DJ wrote alongside a screenshot of a <em>TMZ<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> story about his comments.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mobile outerAdHatch\">\n<div class=\"ad-border\">\n<div class=\"innerAdHatch\">\n<div id=\"contentUnit400\" class=\"adUnits\" inserted=\"shortcode\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Flex then teased the possibility of J.I.D returning to Hot 97. \u201cWHO WANTS TO HEAR ANOTHER JID FREESTYLE?\u201d he wrote before adding: \u201cWHOS YOUR FAVORITE ARTIST TO HEAR FREESTYLE?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>J.I.D jumped in the comment section of the post to tell Flex it was all \u201clove\u201d between them and that he wants to \u201crun it back.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF; Flex\u2019s reaction comes\u00a0after\u00a0a seventh\u00a0and\u00a0eighth YSL affiliate\u00a0recently reached a plea deal to secure their release from jail.<\/p>\n<p>However, not everyone seems to be onboard with Flex\u2019s stance.
