In case you missed it somehow, Taika and Tessa was in Australia filming <em>Thor: Love And Thunder<\/em> when they had a night off \u2014 and chose to spend it at the director\u2019s house with his then-girlfriend. They were photographed early in the morning, getting up close and personal, sharing a threeway kiss at one point. It got the whole internet riled up. (And reportedly made\u00a0<strong>Marvel<\/strong> execs nervous!)<\/p>\n<p>When Taika was asked about it, he simply said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI think in the world of the internet, everything goes away pretty quick. And also, \u2018Is it that big a deal?\u2019 No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. She calls the idea she and Taika were romancing Tessa together too \u201cabsurd\u201d to even speak about before now:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63cee089beb84-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI just chose to not acknowledge that because it\u2019s ridiculous. I think when some things are so absurd, and it\u2019s hard to fathom any sense of it, you just have to ignore it. I\u2019ve taken that <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roach for a lot of things, because you don\u2019t want to put energy towards something that\u2019s nonexistent. It\u2019s like trying to explain something that didn\u2019t happen means you\u2019re feeding into nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>OK, but not\u00a0<em>nothing<\/em>, right? We mean, we saw the pics! Looked like they were having a fun time!<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>She has a pretty clear explanation for those who need one, calling it just a fun night of drinking:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63cee089beb87-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHave you ever been in a situation where you\u2019ve had a lot of drinks and everyone\u2019s your best friend? And then the next day you\u2019re like, \u2018I was talking to this person in the smoking area for four hours and I\u2019ve got no idea who they are?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>LOLz! We know what she means! But one of those people is now her husband and the other is his frequent co-worker, so\u2026 it\u2019s not like they\u2019re strangers! In the end, like Taika, after all that dismissing talk, she basically does acknowledge there was stuff happening. She just doesn\u2019t want anyone thinking it was anything more than a night!<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cLiterally \u2013 that [photo] was just a bunch of friends having a good time. They [Taika and Tessa] had a crazy schedule and everyone was letting loose. I love that. Each to their own.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63cee089beb8a-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Something good did come from the internet being abuzz about this possible throuple \u2014 the fact most everyone seemed OK with it! She explained:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe good <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> though, is that when I was on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> talking to my fans, all of my incredible LGBTQIA+ fanbases were like, actually \u2014 whether this is true or not \u2014 \u2018I\u2019m so inspired that this is being normalized publicly.\u2019 That made me really happy.
