Maksimenka wrote: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe believe this is the right moment for Uniswap to deploy on BNB PoS Chain, for many reasons (one of them is License expiration).\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>After the discussion on the governance forum, the Uniswap community <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/snapshot.org\/#\/uniswap\/proposal\/0xa3c7247632d3a08e4e73a63867908d0cd4402f48fa673945f93e3197dee5450a\">conducted<\/a> a \u201ctemperature check\u201d poll to see if the community <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roves of the proposal. 80% of the votes came from those in favor of the deployment while the remaining 20% voted against the update. <\/p>\n<p>Blockchain software firm ConsenSys supported the move. According to Cameron O&#8217;Donnell, the DAO Governance Strategist at ConsenSys, despite centralization concerns surrounding BNB Smart Chain, the firm <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/gov.uniswap.org\/t\/temperature-check-should-uniswap-v3-be-deployed-to-bnb-chain\/20046\/6\">views<\/a> the brand of the protocol as &#8220;standalone and not beholden to any particular chain.&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell explained: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cRegardless of personal views, Uniswap entering the BSC market will provide current and future users with a secure and established medium for decentralized exchange.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In addition, the ConsenSys executive also said that the firm believes that it\u2019s important for Uniswap to be \u201cchain agnostic\u201d to better serve all users within the Web3 space.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following the approval of the governance proposal, the Plasma Finance team estimates that the deployment of the necessary smart contracts to the BNB Chain may take around 5 to 7 weeks. <\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>BMW taps Coinweb and BNB chain for blockchain loyalty program<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Dec. 22, BNB chain surpassed the Ethereum network in terms of unique addresses. BSC Scan data showed that the blockchain has 233 million which is more than the 217 million unique addresses in Ethereum.
