However, on-chain data is still signaling it could be a \u201cgenerational buying opportunity\u201d according to analysts.<\/p>\n<p>On Jan. 24, researcher and technical analyst \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Game<\/a> of Trades\u201d identified six on-chain metrics for his 71,000 <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> followers.<\/p>\n<p>The first metric is an accumulation trend score highlighting zones of heavy accumulation in terms of entity size and the number of coins bought. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cLarge entities have been in deep accumulation mode ever since the FTX collapse,\u201d the analyst noted before adding \u201csimilar accumulation took place in the 2018 and 2020 bottoms.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Bitcoin: 6 on-chain metrics calling for a generational long-term buying opportunity<\/p>\n<p>A thread <\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Game of Trades (@GameofTrades_) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GameofTrades_\/status\/1617591672849960960?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 23, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>The Bitcoin entity-adjusted dormancy flow is a measure of the ratio of the current market capitalization and the annualized dormancy value.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever dormancy value overtakes market capitalization, the market can be considered in full capitulation which has been a good historical buying zone. <\/p>\n<p>According to Glassnode, this metric fell to its lowest-ever level in 2022.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2023-01\/d7b77e0e-0c61-4ed7-8e70-8736b0d60645.jpg\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>BTC entity- adjusted dormancy flow. Image: Glassnode<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Bitcoin\u2019s reserve risk can be used to measure the confidence of long-term holders relative to the price of BTC. This also fell to its lowest-ever level at the end of 2022, according to Glassnode data.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin\u2019s Realized Price (RP) is the value of all coins in circulation at the price they last moved, in other words, an estimation of what the entire market paid for their coins.<\/p>\n<p>According to<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/charts.woobull.com\/bitcoin-price-models\/\"> Woo Charts<\/a>, Bitcoin has been trading below this level since the FTX collapse until Jan. 13. It is currently just above the RP which represents another buying opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>The Bitcoin MVRV Z-score shows when BTC is significantly over or undervalued relative to its \u2018fair value\u2019 or realized price. When the metric leaves the extremely undervalued zone it is often considered the end of the bear market.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2023-01\/8228915e-7ab4-4170-a983-c943da8bf819.jpg\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>BTC\u2019s MVRV Z-Score.
