In a statement on Thursday, the 41-year-old singer pleaded with fans and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> to respect her privacy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded,&#8221; Spears wrote, saying police responded to &#8220;some prank phone calls.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately,&#8221; the pop star continued. &#8220;This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media. During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward. All the love, B.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Ventura County Sheriff&#8217;s Office <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2023\/01\/25\/britney-spears-welfare-check-cops-called-delete-instagram\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:went to Spears's home\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">went to Spears&#8217;s home<\/a> in Thousand Oaks, Calif. on Tuesday night as some fans <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>arently worried for her safety. Concern among her loyal supporters arose after the &#8220;Toxic&#8221; singer&#8217;s Instagram account disappeared. Before deactivating her account, Spears purportedly said in a now-deleted <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2023\/01\/23\/britney-spears-dance-camera-name-river-red-sam-asghari\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:post\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">post<\/a>, &#8220;I changed my name to River Red.&#8221; Some people believed that was a code word for help.<\/p>\n<p>Spears&#8217;s Instagram has worried some in recent weeks. The social media posts coincided with a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2023\/01\/16\/sam-asghari-explains-britney-spears-manic-episode-denies-storming-out\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:TMZ\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">TMZ<\/a> report claiming the entertainer acted erratically at a restaurant. The gossip site posted a video claiming Spears was speaking gibberish and that her husband, Sam Asghari, stormed out. Asghari <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2023\/01\/16\/sam-asghari-explains-britney-spears-manic-episode-denies-storming-out\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:strongly denied\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">strongly denied<\/a> any &#8220;manic episode&#8221; occurred to TMZ.
