\n Joe Biden on Wednesday disavowed the deadly anarchy roiling the streets of Kenosha, Wisconsin, in the wake of Jacob Blake\u2019s shooting by police \u2014 after he was publicly called out for not doing it earlier.<\/p>\n

The Democratic presidential nominee said the \u201cneedless violence\u201d needed to stop, but he didn\u2019t make the remarks at a campaign trail stop or during an interview with a reporter \u2014 he made them on Twitter<\/a>, from his basement in Delaware.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I saw on that video makes me sick,\u201d Biden said of the stomach-churning footage which captured Blake being shot in the back seven times by police in front of three of his young sons.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce again, a black man \u2014 Jacob Blake \u2014 has been shot by police in broad daylight with the whole world watching,\u201d he continued, recounting how he told Blake\u2019s family that justice had to be served.<\/p>\n

\u201cPut yourself in the shoes of every black father and black mother in this country ask, \u2018Is this what we want America to be? Is this the country we should be?’\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

He released the video after former GOP Ohio Gov. Josh Kasich earlier Wednesday called on the former veep to condemn the violence and looting taking place in the quiet town of 100,000.<\/p>\n

Biden went on to condemn the violence which has seen widespread looting and armed local militia roaming the streets \u2014 culminating in the shooting death of two protesters late Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I said after George Floyd\u2019s murder, protesting brutality is a right and absolutely necessary. But burning down communities is not protest, it\u2019s needless violence \u2014 violence that endangers lives, violence that guts businesses and shutters businesses that serve the community. That\u2019s wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier Wednesday, President Trump announced he was sending the National Guard and federal troops to Kenosha to restore order in the city which has come to resemble the torched hellscape that rioters and looters turned Minneapolis into after Floyd\u2019s death at the hands of white cops in May.<\/p>\n

Trump has yet to comment publicly on the dad-of-six\u2019s shooting at the hands of cops, but unsuccessfully tried to call Blake\u2019s mother, Julia Jackson, she said.<\/p>\n

Jackson told CNN\u2019s Don Lemon that she was unimpressed by the fact Trump on Monday shared a tweet about Blake\u2019s criminal record which he has since deleted from his timeline.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor President Trump, I\u2019m sorry I missed your call because had I not missed your call, maybe the comments that you made would have been different,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not mad at you at all. I have the utmost respect for you as the leader of our country,\u201d she continued. \u201cI\u2019m not saying this to him directly [but] we should always get the details from the right source before we start throwing bricks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blake, 29, survived the ordeal but is paralyzed from the waist down, his family\u2019s lawyer said. The police officers involved in his shooting\u00a0have not been identified but mass protests across the nation this week are demanding justice to be served.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
