But after his death in 1977, it was his ex-wife\u00a0<strong>Priscilla Presley<\/strong> who found all of the books and got curious. She reached out to\u00a0<strong>John Travolta<\/strong>, who got her in touch with the right people who got her right in \u2014 her and her daughter. Lisa Marie was just 9 years old. And she says while her famous mom was treated like a VIP, as a kid she was treated like a bother. She said Priscilla \u201cwould dump me off at Scientology\u201d bases:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afd5d-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cMy mom was always trying to figure out what to do with me. I had watches on me. I thought at one point that I wanted to join the Sea Org just to get out of my mom\u2019s house.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Whoa! For those who don\u2019t know, the\u00a0<strong>Sea Organization<\/strong> is the group of super-dedicated workers who allegedly work non-stop for $25\/week and have to sign billion-year contracts that say they have to come back in subsequent lives and continue to serve. Cray.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>As a teen she was looked after by the then-captain of the Flag Land Base in Clearwater, Florida, a woman named\u00a0<strong>Debbie Cook<\/strong>. She said:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afd63-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI loved Debbie. And what happened to her really wrecked me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Debbie was involved in a legal battle with the Church in 2012. They sued her for speaking out to other members against some of leader David Miscavige\u2019s practices \u2014 apparently she \u201cwon,\u201d scoring a settlement after going public with descriptions of \u201cThe Hole,\u201d an alleged prison where Miscavige was illegally detaining people. Eventually Debbie told Lisa her \u201cwhole life has been a manipulation.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>But what really opened Lisa\u2019s eyes happened a lot earlier. When she turned 25 years old (this would have been in 1993), she qualified for her inheritance from her father\u2019s enormous estate. Suddenly Scientology was much more interested in her. She recalled bitterly:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afd6a-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAt 25, after I got the inheritance, they started grooming me to be this person who would go out and get everyone else in.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOut to get\u201d whom? Well, they wanted the King of Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll. Of course they wanted the King of Pop, too.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"michael-jackson\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Michael_Jackson\"><\/span>Michael Jackson<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Yes, Scientology was quite keen on Lisa Marie bringing\u00a0<strong>Michael Jackson<\/strong> into the fold. Their controversial 1994 marriage was not staged, she maintained; she wasn\u2019t just there as a honeypot for the Church. But the organization <em>did<\/em> try to use their union as a way to get him.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afd71-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>MJ famously grew up a Jehovah\u2019s Witness, but they saw what they thought was a vulnerable celeb they could manipulate. Instead, it turned out he was a force they couldn\u2019t control. Lisa Marie says \u201cthey realized he was getting too much bad press\u201d and decided to give up on trying to recruit him. Surprisingly, Lisa Marie explained, Scientology didn\u2019t push her to marry the\u00a0<em>Thriller<\/em> singer in the first place, but they\u00a0<em>did<\/em> pressure her to leave him! She told Ortega:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI was in love with Michael, believe it or not. I didn\u2019t want to leave him. He was in trouble and I wanted to help him. And they made sure that I left him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>She said Miscavige himself, as well as lawyer <strong>John P. Coale<\/strong>, convinced her to file for divorce when things weren\u2019t going well between them. They told her if MJ filed first he\u2019d have a huge legal advantage. She recalled:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afd77-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOne morning I got a call from John Coale. He said, \u2018Michael\u2019s going to make a move. He\u2019s going to file.\u2019 So I filed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Coale denies this, saying he not only \u201cnever told her to love or unlove Mr. Jackson\u201d but also that there was no legal reason to file first because there were no children or financial stakes to fight over.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>But Lisa said she thought her situation was akin to that of\u00a0<strong>Tom Cruise<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Nicole Kidman<\/strong>. She says of the movie star couple:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afd7e-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI know how in love they were. But they were driven apart.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Huh.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"operating-thetan-level-7\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Operating_Thetan_Level_7\"><\/span>Operating Thetan Level 7<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>When asked about how far up in the org she and her mom got, Lisa explained that Priscilla never got to the higher levels:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afd85-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cMy mom\u2019s not Clear. She takes courses and reads books, but she\u2019s not involved.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Lisa on the other hand got up to Operating Thetan Level 7, the second highest auditing level. It apparently takes a long time, sometimes years to finish \u2014 but it was the wall that Lisa hit with the religion. She finally learned enough to realize she was out:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI never finished it. I quit after three months. It was bulls**t. It was just about control. It was just a way of getting more money.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afd8c-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And when was it that they got interested in her? Mm-hm.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"scientology-friends\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Scientology_Friends\"><\/span>Scientology Friends<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Ortega asked Lisa about her relationships with some of the more famous Church members. She said she detested Tom Cruise from the start:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI f**king hate Tom. I met him 20 years ago. I said I never want to be in a room with him again.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afd94-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Well. What about John Travolta, who first ushered her family into the Church in the first place? There are no hard feelings on that score, she says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cJohn is my last Scientology friend. Kelly [Preston] kind of monitors us. John and I get unruly if we\u2019re together. John is renting my house in Hawaii right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>[BTW, this interview was a few years ago, before the passing of\u00a0<strong>Kelly Preston<\/strong> in 2020. According to her, Travolta was basically completely oblivious to all of that:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI told him about the HBO thing. He had no idea. I told him that Debbie Cook was gone. He had no idea. He has no Internet or email. He\u2019s so sheltered. All he knows is what they tell him. He\u2019s smart but sheltered.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Wow.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afda2-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"where-are-the-miscaviges\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_Are_The_Miscaviges\"><\/span>Where Are The Miscaviges?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Shelly Miscavige<\/strong>, wife of the Leader David Miscavige, has apparently been missing for years. And David himself has disappeared recently as well. Lisa didn\u2019t know for sure where they were, but she gave her best guess. She agrees with vocal ex-Scientologist\u00a0<strong>Mike Rinder <\/strong>that Shelly is being held against her will at a compound in the San Bernardino Mountains. She stated matter-of-factly:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cShe is at that place at Arrowhead. She\u2019s under 24\/7 guard.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>She even asked David where she was after she first disappeared so many years ago, and he told her simply, \u201cCompilations.\u201d That meant she was doing some kind of special mission. But he didn\u2019t say what. And apparently it\u2019s never been finished\u2026<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afdb5-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>As for David, she said the last time she saw him was around 2011. She already had a foot out the door but it sounds like this made her decision more clear, no pun intended\u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhile I was beginning to realize how f**ked up everything was, and how many criminals there were, I had dinner with him at Nobu four years ago in London. Listening to him talk about how great Scientology was doing was like hearing Hitler talking about how he has chimneys and smoke coming out of everywhere. All he could talk about was Tom or buildings. A four-hour dinner.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Geez. Lisa mentioned how <strong>Leah Remini<\/strong> very publicly defecting in 2013 changed everything. She said David basically disappeared after that, let alone all the child-trafficking-lawsuit subpoena evasion:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afdbc-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cMy mom is still friends with [a Scientology attorney who] told her that Dave is so paranoid now, nobody sees him. Nobody sees him. He\u2019s going into an underground bunker period.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ortega mentions she laughed as she called back to the name of the publication she was speaking with. She was witty like that. But she wasn\u2019t joking about him going into hiding. She reiterated:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s going into that bunker phase.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afdc3-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>That was years ago. It\u2019s only now that he\u2019s really being looked for that anyone on the outside realized, we guess.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"lisas-exit\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lisas_Exit\"><\/span>Lisa\u2019s Exit<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>So how did Lisa come to leave Scientology herself?<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>She realized she was done many, many years ago, but she left very carefully. She started gathering ammo in 2007, asking questions and gathering info. A lot of what she found ended up in the\u00a0<em>Going Clear<\/em> documentary. She said in 2015:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afdcd-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cFor the last eight years, I\u2019ve been putting together everything that was in that special.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Wow! Her name wasn\u2019t closely associated with the film, which was made by director <strong>Alex Gibney<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief - Official Trailer\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ixgd38EZIR0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afdd4-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>She isn\u2019t mentioned in the credits or on the <strong>IMDB<\/strong> page. But she was helping from behind the scenes the whole time, getting info from David\u2019s father\u00a0<strong>Ron Miscavige<\/strong> and friend (and escapee)\u00a0<strong>Roanne Horwich<\/strong>. She said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhile I was questioning Ron and Roanne, my mom and daughter were still in. I had to be real careful. I didn\u2019t want to get them in trouble.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>She started asking all these questions years before leaving, speaking to members who knew about the unsavory things the organization was doing AND were willing to talk about it. And it was what she learned from them that drove her to leave the Church. Ultimately it was learning about The Hole.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afdda-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>First revealed publicly in a\u00a0<em>Tampa Bay Times<\/em> expos\u00e9 in 2009, The Hole is allegedly a set of offices in Int Base, or \u201cGold Base,\u201d near Hemet, California. According to those who have spoken out, David Miscavige had created The Hole in 2004 as a place to punish disobedient underlings. They are allegedly imprisoned there and forced to \u201caccuse each other of disloyalty\u201d in bizarre \u201cseances.\u201d It was when she learned about the imprisonment of Church members that Lisa Marie decided:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cNo way, that\u2019s not why I joined this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>She had her final stand with the organization in 2014. She took her son,\u00a0<strong>Benjamin Kough<\/strong> (who was never a Scientologist) and then-husband <strong>Michael Lockwood<\/strong> down to Florida to confront David Miscavige, whom she had once legitimately considered a friend, about the worst things she\u2019d heard:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afde0-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI was just going to go there and see if it\u2019s as bad as everyone said. So I went to the headquarters in Clearwater.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ron Miscavige called her when he found out, asking what she was planning.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201c\u2018I don\u2019t f**king know,\u2019 I told him. \u2018I\u2019m here with a wand checking for bugs in the hotel room. I don\u2019t know.\u2019 \u2026 I just know that I started to self-destruct because this thing [Scientology] is corrupt. I needed closure.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afde7-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ron told her she\u2019d never be allowed in to see his son, not anymore. She recalled:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cDave is too f**king scared to talk to me. I\u2019m in the belly of the beast. It was his terrain, but I was obviously not afraid. He\u2019s afraid.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>She was let into the Flag Building by a Sea Org officer, but David wasn\u2019t there. There were cameras, though. She deduced this was the closest she would get. So she picked a camera and said her piece to it:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afdef-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know what\u2019s wrong with you. Are you throwing everyone in The Hole? You just made the biggest mistake of your life, you just broke up your own family. Somebody needs to stop you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She says when she was back at her hotel she got called back in. The officer told her she wasn\u2019t allowed to be in touch with \u201cSP,\u201d or \u201csuppressive person,\u201d Ron. They asked her to come in and speak to David\u2019s sisters,\u00a0<strong>Denise<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Lori<\/strong>. So she went back, once again into the room with just cameras, she assumed streaming straight to David\u2019s bunker. It wasn\u2019t exactly a conversation:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cDenise starts screaming at me. I\u2019d met her before. I wouldn\u2019t say we were friends. She\u2019s screaming about how Ron had beat her mother. How he would drink when he was looking over the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afdf5-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI couldn\u2019t get a word in edgewise. I remained completely unemotional while Denise was screaming all kinds of crazy s**t. It was all a show for Dave. I kind of had a smile on my face the whole time.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>She eventually screamed at her that it wasn\u2019t her business and to stay out of their family affairs. Lisa responded:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afdfd-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201c\u2018I\u2019m done, Denise. Good job.\u2019 I tried to be as calm as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Lisa remembered turning to the Sea Org officer:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI looked over at his little henchwoman. \u2018That was not a two-way conversation,\u2019 I said\u2026 \u2018That was supposed to handle me? If that was on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a>, do you think anyone would ever walk in here again?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afe06-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Damn! Lisa was smooth!<\/p>\n<p>She said she went back one more time, the next day, attempting to speak to David about what had happened the day before. This time she had Lockwood and Ben with her \u2014 safety in numbers. She remembered telling the officer:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI at least need you to acknowledge the fact that was a tiny iota insane. This is the SS, Dave is Hitler. I didn\u2019t join this. I want nothing to do with this. My family will have my back.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afe0d-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The officer told her:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYou need to go into confessional now and get your overts off.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Lisa was not having that! She was done with Church mumbo jumbo:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afe15-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI told her \u2018F**k you. You\u2019re trying to shut me the f**k up and you\u2019re not going to do it.\u2019 She told me that I could leave. \u2018Fine, I\u2019m leaving. And when I walk out that door, you\u2019re never seeing me again.\u2019 As I stood up and walked out, she said she would let me know if they declared me. \u2018I\u2019ll let the whole world know if you do,\u2019 I said.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She says everything was civil. Scientology members helped her and her family pack, but not in a threatening way. She noted:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cBut I\u2019ve had PIs on me ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afe21-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Lisa Marie Presley was in fact declared SP. She says that means the Church immediately started making up lies to spread about her:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m a suppressive person, and I\u2019m the reason my dad died and MJ died. That\u2019s what\u2019s being said inside Scientology.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>How the heck would she be the reason Elvis died? She was 9!!!<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afe2c-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>She went and talked to her mother and to eldest daughter\u00a0<strong>Riley Keough<\/strong>, who had been part of the Church. She says she told Priscilla:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cMom, I know you love doing your courses. But you\u2019re going to have to have my f**king back.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Thankfully they both listened. When she left the Church in 2014, she said, \u201cThey walked when I did.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afe35-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>After that Lisa hired a \u201cbad ass lawyer\u201d who was able to get the police report about the private investigators who were following Ron. But she kept clear of it while it all surfaced. She stayed a silent partner in the war on Scientology. Why? She explained:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe actual reason is, I have two nannies. They\u2019re both Scientologists. My children are so in love with them. And I have a security executive guy who works with me, and he\u2019s a Scientologist.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>She thought her young kids would be \u201cdestroyed\u201d if they lost their nannies. She said:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afe3d-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the only thing holding me back. Believe me, when I want to go, I go.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>But she was still scared about what the Church might do to retaliate \u2014 or keep her quiet. She said about her old friend Dave:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cHe gave me all that information about his family and then let me walk out? You have to be joking. I\u2019m being followed. I don\u2019t know what he\u2019s going to do. He\u2019s going to lose his s**t at some point.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-63d8bc18afe47-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Asked if she thought Miscavige was scared of her, she replied:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHe should be.
