Case LLP including Gregory Pesce and Aaron Colodny addressed\u00a0the so-called \u201cleaked\u201d bids for Celsius\u2019 crypto assets shared by crypto blogger Tiffany Fong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe assertion that the bids have been rejected is just categorically false,\u201d said Pesce.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"zxx\" dir=\"ltr\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hbJ5GJchZC\">https:\/\/t.co\/hbJ5GJchZC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Celsius Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (@CelsiusUcc) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CelsiusUcc\/status\/1620512001498972161?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 31, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>Fong\u2019s Jan. 27 post on Substack pointed to at least five firms that were reportedly interested in bidding on Celsius\u2019 crypto assets including Binance, Bank To The Future, Galaxy Digital, crypto trading company Cumberland DRW and digital asset investment firm NovaWulf.<\/p>\n<p>At the time Fong said the bids were \u201cfor the most part, abandoned\u201d \u2014 referring to an earlier statement from a Celsius lawyer proclaiming the bids they received so far \u201chave not been compelling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, the Celsius Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (UCC) attorney argued that this was not the case.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe bids have not been rejected. That\u2019s just wrong, and I hope I can disabuse people of that incorrect notion today.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The attorney refrained from confirming whether bids mentioned in the leak were accurate or not but said it was \u201cregrettable\u201d as it reduces the flexibility the committee has in the negotiation process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery day, we and the debtors are providing public messages and private messages to potential investors about where they stand in the process,\u201d explained Pesce.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe messages that we sent them [&#8230;] is very planned out and structured so that we can play different parties against each other and make sure we get the last dollar for Celsius account holders because the success of that process will determine recoveries here.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt&#8217;s therefore regrettable that this leak h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s particularly unfortunate that this has been monetized by the source of that leak for publicizing her paid-for content page on Patreon,\u201d he said, referring to Fong.<\/p>\n<p>Fong has <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TiffanyFong_\/status\/1620537966832799744?s=20&amp;t=BmdrwWS0QWc0dCdBVhQ2pQ\">responded<\/a> to the accusation, arguing the leaked bids were 100% free with \u201cno paywall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe leaked bids are NOT behind a paywall such a strange accusation,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The bids were always free &#8211; I have posts behind a paywall that involve my personal life \/ love life which are NOT in the public interest to keep them somewhat private. <\/p>\n<p>The leaked bids are NOT behind a paywall such a strange accusation <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CelsiusUcc?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@CelsiusUcc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tiffany Fong (@TiffanyFong_) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TiffanyFong_\/status\/1620537966832799744?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 31, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The crypto blogger released details concerning the five bids on Substack last week, which can still be accessed without payment at the time of writing.<\/p>\n<p>Pesce said they are now investigating how the leak occurred, adding there was \u201csignificant concern that a potential investor that was involved in the process may be trying to manipulate it for their own benefit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll that being said, we are working very hard to make sure that we can choose a path as quickly as possible and get this bankruptcy over. Mr. Mashinsky lied.
